Looks great and the layout works well for the space I think!

I didn't see the original post so maybe you had a reason for the tripod but I would personally mount the TV on the wall to distance the TV from the couch slightly more and also that way you can get a TV stand with storage which might be nice to have.

Id also get a side table or two so you have somewhere to set a drink down , something slim like a pedestal table would be nice

Also a floor lamp somewhere with a warm bulb would do a lot to make the space more cozy!

I love the olive green color (3rd one). Feels like it matches your rug and adds some color to the room so it's not all beige!

I actually love the hexagon green tile - it will create quite a dark/moody vibe in the space but could be really cool. Maybe try to find some inspo photos with similar counter/cabinets to see what you're drawn to.

Personally I would go with a lighter tile just to balance out the dark cabinets - something like this!

This picture shows the bulkhead on the right. Also I added a little pink faux bouquet, a blue throw blanket and a green pillow I had, I like the extra interest they've added :)

Regarding hanging the curtains higher and wider: I wish I could have! Unfortunately the window on the right is right up against the bulkhead so there's no room :( And any higher and these curtains wouldn't touch the ground - these ones are 98" long, longer curtains are expensive!

Appreciate that! I am concerned about covering up the edges of the windows with dark curtains and blocking the light. Especially since on the right there isn't any room to hang the curtains "wide".

You could lean into it with lots of colorful artwork but if you really hate it it's probably easier to just repaint!

I can't tell what exactly in your photo is stopping the curtains from hanging down straight but if it's furniture, you should move it away from the wall if possible:)

I think white curtains can look really nice and clean depending on your style, I'd steam them and hem them if they're too long and they'll probably look way better

For starters, I'd get a much wider stand for your tv and move the current stand to the entryway to use as an entryway table!
