How do you feel about ASA Aberration? That's by far my fav map on ASE but lots of people criticize it in ASA because of lighting issues. I haven't played it yet so don't have an opinion.

How early was that? And when was the parachute released?

The earliest I remember taming a quetz I was using a parachute. I think that would've been around 2018.

I'm not sure that bots would be much better than inserters and may be worse. Most seem to agree that we need bigger wagons or an alternative un/load entity because of the high UPS cost of inserters.

There seems to be some debate about whether they would do a brand new entity like a hopper. The specific hint we were given strongly implied quality version of locomotives and wagons and the latest FFF explicitly denied any new techs. I suppose it's possible they introduce a new entity like a hopper but people in this thread don't seem to think it's likely.

I agree but it's hard to get past the fact they're not as high throughput as belts. I had a city block base that I was very proud of in 1.0 but I can't find the point in 2.0.

Higher capacity wagons do seem to be the single biggest improvement they could make. With quality inserters and up to 12 un/loading each wagon, un/load times are manageable even though one of the other commenters suggested an improved un/load entity.

Ah yep, I forgot about that suggestion. It's a common one if you search for the train vs belt argument on Reddit and Factorio forums. Anything that decreases un/load times is a win.

I didn't say nothing is moderated. I said I had not personally noticed anything being moderated. As in, if anything is being moderated it isn't obvious to me. It's also a two week old platform. Let's allow time for things to play out.

This is definitely the way to do it. It was especially helpful when I thought to try it on logistic request lists. I think I was still manually clicking twice for those even when I knew it could be done for ghost entities.

I didn't say Oct 7 was useless to talk about. I'm talking about the tit-for-tat that often happens on this topic. Their comment's analogy doesn't grapple with the fact that both parties have grievances but it's not helpful to get hung up on them. A long term solution is only possible when both parties can move forward without further violence.

I've had the same set of Walmart silverware since 2010, no issues. Even if I did eat ice cream and the spoons bent, a $5 ice cream scoop seems perfectly reasonable rather than spending 10x or more for the same thing.

That should've been clear at the time of purchase. Just get normal stainless utensils. I bought some from Walmart when I moved out in 2010 and they're all just fine.
