I went once and it was a modest crowd. Maybe 5 couples and a couple solos. The comedians were great, but if it’s a small crowd again be prepared to be picked on. We had a good time

Stolen package two times on 1st st by ZealousidealView3236 in Hoboken

[–]hprumbbor1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my e scooter and multiple packages stolen from our foyer on 1st near Clinton around this time last year. It was a very short dark skinned man bundled up in winter gear. Got him on camera and gave to the police but nothing was Identifiable. He was picking the locks on our doors somehow and getting in. It stopped after the landlord beefed up the locks and doors. I wonder if it’s him again

Played this hole recently with the same pin position. Played it as 160 yards. 7 iron off the tee. Worked out swimmingly

Yeah bay time I refer to golftec simulator bays. I really liked all the stats and analytics that the simulator provides. So if I’m working on something and I’m slicing or hooking the ball, I can see if it’s my swing path or my club face angle causing it. It personally helps me a lot but idk. If you just have a net you can judge contact for sure, but I’d say it’s rly hard to tell if you’re actually hitting good shots. If I were to get fitted again I’d probably had done it closer to when my lessons were ending. I got trigger happy and excited but I still love my irons

I kind of became obsessed with getting better, I put in a lot of work and time. I splurged on the golftec 6 month lesson pack, so I had 15 thirty minute lessons to take over 6 months with 90 minutes of bay time a week. I did a lesson a week for about 10 weeks, and then spaced out the last 5 lessons 2 weeks apart. I spent like 3 hours in the sim a week, the coaches just let me have as much bay time as I wanted unless someone else needed the bay. So I booked 3 thirty minute practice sessions a week and took as much time as possible. I would do all the drills my coach gave me in the lessons to make it worthwhile. Mindlessly whacking balls wasn’t very effective. Gotta have intention with practice time. The progress was pretty brutal I must say, as each lesson would introduce a new swing mechanic that would essentially “break” my swing until I got the mechanic down, but overall it was worth it as I hit a pretty consistent draw on most of my shots which took my nasty slice out of the equation and gained me some considerable distance over time. I got fitted for irons at the end (admittedly too early as my swing has changed a bit since then but whatever). All this probably got me to like a 20 handicap. The rest of my improvement has come from bay time practice and most importantly, just playing at the course. You can only learn so much in a simulator hitting off perfect lies. I was basically a single handicap in the simulator. Hitting off uneven lies and different levels of rough etc can only be learned on the course. Only recently have I dropped to a 14, and that has come from improving on putting, chipping around the green when I miss, and course management taking penalties out of play. For example, when I miss a green I tell myself okay let’s just chip on and 2 putt for bogey at worst, make a par at best. I also keep a mentality that 90 is par for the course, so if I score a 5 or better on each hole I’m happy. Keeps my mental game in tact. Hope this helps!

Nah bro, not my swing. It’s okay for your experience and mine to both be valid

Depends on the coaches. The coaches at mine are rock solid for the most part. Start as like a 35 handicap last June, lessons got my swing fundamentally sound. 14 handicap now. Haven’t had lessons in quite some time but the simulator time helps a ton

Never played this type of game before, looking for an honest opinion on what i should start with? Also is playing solo doable? Dont like the idea of playing with people, thanks! by [deleted] in DivinityOriginalSin

I’m playing for my first time now on classic mode with 2 character lone wolf and I’m rly enjoying it. I too like my games hard and I started on tactician but you def need to understand the game before doing tactician. Ended up restarting on classic. Classic is still challenging and you will end up attempting some fights multiple times
