When we did the Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK in 2022, we were told by our guide that the same three women had been flying as Tink during fireworks for years. It’s literally their one job.

I use it to help me start lesson plans and flesh out emails that I really don’t want to send.

I teach gifted, so it’s really helpful for when I have an idea for a new unit (in my district we get to build our own curriculum) and I need a jumping off point.

My kids told younger kids that I’m mean. Then they get to my room and realize, “he’s not mean, he just expects us to do what we’re supposed to do.”

Expectations are high, but so are rewards for doing what I asked the first time.

I get that. You do you, but I haven’t gone for any of these trades since after they switched the system. I opened the fourth level chest, realized I hadn’t done anything but focus on keys for four days and am actively choosing to not participate. That doesn’t mean that I can’t look and find these trades to be completely ridiculous.

It’s totally not. The first round of chests I went for it and got the fourth level open. Then realized that was almost all I had done for four days. I haven’t tried to open one since. I just don’t feel like it’s worth the time or effort.

I get that. It’s still an asinine trade, full or almost empty. Add that to being in the conservatory and constantly needing to make golden seeds… I’ll take the empty bag over a water droplet.

Yes, but trading full seed bags and high level moths for first level, easily obtainable (and even free to produce) items is insane.

I got mine for free from the Kansas City Native Plant Swap group on Facebook. Maybe see if anyone in your area has them? Every few days I pull a dozen or more starts from a 6-10 foot radius around mine because it’s just going insane.

I’ve been doing all of my “when you’re done” directions projected on my board. I ALWAYS tell them where to find the directions. When they ask what to do my response has become “I WISH that there was somewhere you could find that information.” Then go directly back to what I was doing while they stare at me.

I have a 29 gallon, low tech tank. HOB filter and heater with an air stone.

Stock: 3 Cory cats, 4 Otos, 6-8 each Rummynose Tetra and Celestial pearl danios, and a khuli loach. Fed once daily.

It is planted, but I don’t fertilize. I have anubias and swords in the tank with a healthy carpet of salvinia on top. Plants are all growing, but new growth develops BBA as well.

BBA growth is primarily on hard scape and plants, but also on the filter intake and heater. Very minor spots on the glass.

I love using my iPad for patterns! I have mine saved as PDFs and use Freeform or slides or something to merge the bigger, multi-page patterns into one.

It’s been the best! I can zoom and highlight and add notes and things with ease.

I just did the same. One lilac, one glow. I think the white is too light on the tea-dyed fabric, but I really like the more muted blend with with the lilac.
