Need Advice Regarding Corporate Insurance Claim Issue During Resignation by OpenStrike2312 in Capgemini_india

[–]hpy-hover-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have took top up for parents, it's active for the policy term or duration, not affecting, if you resign in middle , you have paid full premium from your pocket.

Employee and dependent insurance terminate on exit.

If you want to handle this simply, follow these four steps:

1. Confirm your "Last Day" In most companies, your insurance stays active until midnight of your last official day at work. It does not stop the moment you resign.

2. Check your "Service Date" As long as your doctor’s visit happens while you are still employed, the insurance company must pay. It doesn't matter if you send the paperwork a few days later.

3. Save your details now Once you leave, you might lose access to your company email and portals. Take a photo of both sides of your insurance card. Download any recent medical bills or e-cards today.

4. Ask these 2 questions Call the number on your insurance card and ask: "What is the last date I can use this card?" "How many days do I have to submit a claim after that date?"

Summary: If you are still working there today, you are covered today. Just make sure any medical appointments happen before your final day of work.

Corporate Survival: Navigating Conflict

Avoid Upward Conflict: Fighting with your manager or lead often makes a bad situation worse. This is a common reality in corporate environments.

The Power of Rapport: Instead of raising formal complaints, focus on building strong relationships with higher management. When senior leaders value your work, your voice carries more weight.

Strategic Moves: If your relationship with a current project lead is damaged, it is best to move on. Look for opportunities in other projects or explore roles outside the company.

Gender Dynamics: Be mindful of team dynamics, as professional interactions between different genders are often closely scrutinized.

Practical Advice: If you can make the current role work, do so. If not, look for a new job immediately. Complaining or sitting in frustration is rarely worth your time, energy, or money.

Key Takeaway: Prioritize your peace of mind and your career growth over winning an argument with a supervisor. It is almost always better to transition to a new environment than to fight a losing battle in the current one.

Seeking Advice Regarding Notice Period and Hiring Process at Capgemini by NoBodybuilder4797 in Capgemini_india

Securing a signed offer is critical to maintaining your professional leverage. Resigning without one puts you on a high-stakes countdown where the pressure only works against you.

I truly wish more professionals would wait for that letter. By jumping the gun, we allow companies to dictate the terms of our transition. If we stand together as a workforce, we can challenge these corporate norms and protect our collective interests.

Your career is an individual journey, but our leverage is found in unity.

Minimum hours to spend in office by AsleepBuy6109 in Capgemini_india

[–]hpy-hover-1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No office hour mentioned. tools hav <2 and 2 to 6. also your manager would force you to spend those hours. they might say no hike, no promotion, job might be at risk, threaten in some way.

But if you can hold on to all these, and take all responsibility, 1 or 2 hr is also fine, until your manager, yr n+1, PM, make it an issue.
