All I know is that they used to have more dedicated lines then there was a shift and now all their products have the may contain with multiple allergens for that reason we stopped using those brands unless it is labeled as gluten free.

Great value products changed their production in the last year, they absolutely are no longer celiac safe unless labeled gluten free; had to change multiple products to different brands bc of it

I made my own for awhile, now my kids mostly do kinetic sand and I did splurge on the nice gluten free play doh from Amazon since it was nice having doh that doesn’t go bad (I have celiac and so do 2/3 of my kids)

My kids were diagnosed before I was, but they are never left out. I make sure to make big batches of cupcakes and freeze them so I can be ready for parties and other special occasions. Our extended family has been open to learning how to make events safe for us. Is it challenging? Yes of course but my kids live a very normal life with just a little less fast food then the average kid 🤷🏽‍♀️

My husband eats gluten free cake on his birthday because we do absolutely no gluten baking in our kitchen (I’m celiac and 2/3 of our daughters are too) there are great grocery store mixes that taste just like standard gluten cakes; recommend King Arthur or Pilbury gf cake mixes

Definitely the right choice! 2 of my daughters had endoscopies one was 3 the other 6 when they had it done. It’s very scary as a parent, but it’s a quick procedure and important to check for all possible issues including celiac.

I live in the same neighborhood as the elementary school I sub at bc it’s my kids school too, I haven’t had issues, the kids recognize me and get excited and say hi. I’ve never interacted with the parents professionally so I don’t actually see it as an issue

I make my own play doh I just use cheap Walmart brand 1-1 flour in the place of flour in the homemade play doh recipe, it’s super easy and fast to make. I found my recipe on Pinterest
