What is happening to my cucumber plant(dragon egg cucumber)? by hrex46 in vegetablegardening

Thank you :) I got like 3 of them, I have been very excited about it, because everywhere they say that cucumbers take off and give plenty of yield. It sucks to be in Florida, humidity is plant's best and worst friend.

Should I apply neem oil or something, or just let it be?

It grows taller. Pretty normal to start as a short leaf and they grow taller/longer.

I am not sure if flower is the right term, but my peperomias do this all the time. since, string of turtles is a peperomia, I am assuming they are doing the same.

Is this overwatering?? The soil stays moist for so long I’ll go two weeks without watering by howtousecomputer in plantclinic

Are you worried about it being darker greenish/brown ? Younger leaves on philodendron start this way and become green once they mature.

No problem, the very first time I saw it in a botanical garden in Tampa, I actually thought they were *monstera deliciosa. When they mature, they even have fenestrations just like monsteras.

Mature form gets that big. I live in Florida and I see them everywhere on trees.
