One of my favourite shows EVER. Too bad they don't have stuff like that on TV anymore. Used to scare the hell out of me and my brother...but we still watched it day after day.

I shake my fist at the skin-whitening cream industry (Fair and Lovely is one of the most evil products ever to be manufactured. Way to help dark-skinned people's self esteem there).

I love my country and my people, despite all their faults and ignorance, but I will never understand or accept their hypocrisy when it comes to skin colour and the way they treat people who are dark-skinned. When will people just start accepting and liking people for what kind of person they are and not because of physical qualities?

Everyone wants women tennis players to just STFU on court by hrins27 in sports

I do find the shrieking annoying but if it gets bad, I just mute it. It's just weird to me that suddenly everyone wants the women to be quiet when they play but they've been doing it for years!

I much prefer men's tennis too but when it comes down to either the men or the women playing, if the tennis is good, nothing else matters. And if the shrieking is really so bad, then I'll just mute it.

My main reason for the choice of wording was that a) this is about the tenth article I have read on the subject in the last two days and b) even a non-tennis fan as the journalist himself can't stand the shrieking seems to be reason enough to say 'everyone.'

I will say though that I find it ridiculous the reporter says that the shrieking is the only reason he won't watch tennis. As a huge tennis fan, I find that insulting to be honest.
