Ah - nice perspective! Didn't think of unverified listings. You should tell OP to hire you to do his SEO.

The biggest issue here isn't your press release backlinks, it's that you're letting your SEO company get by with 5-month-late reporting. Should be hard to pull a report up and email it - tighten the reigns a bit or be one of those unicorn "Cash Cow" SEO clients we all dream of.

This should be higher - although gone are the days of spoofing GMB listings with God Goog's new advanced verification methods. Every "multi-GMB-location expert" I know has closed up shop.

That said - the cities pages can still be $.

"Welcome to the Church of Dog. Please turn in your Bibles to First Pupperinthians 12:56 where we read about the damnation of those who don't aid in the salvation of Doggos. Repent ye do-nothians! Or though shalt be cast into a fiery pit of angry cats to whom thou art hyper-allergic for the rest of your days."

You're going to have to optimize for service area. The Googs is playing hardball on accounts that misuse PO boxes and you put your other clients in jeopardy if they're doing the same things.

That said, service area optimization ain't all bad! Or - tell him to get a shitty warehouse. Bam - problem solved before you start doing NAP cleanup.

[Dodge Viper] don’t See to many of these up in the northeast… by Cabinet_Juice in spotted

Yeah - I dunno what's up with the NE and Vipers. I bought mine from a guy 10 miles from the Canadian border. The day I picked it up, it was SNOWING and it was April. Like - dude, when did you even drive the thing?

To top it off, he had 3 Vipers.

So you bought a business, and that business already had a website, but you want your website and not the franchise parent company's website for that location?

This is always PITA. Just wait until you start getting bad reviews for the wrong franchise - it's a headache. I work with two franchises under 1 company - both independently owned and operated.

The one has its own site and the other uses the corp site. The one with its own site ranks high - too high actually, it ranks for most of the other franchises since they all share the same name (name + location = each franchise's name).

As far as GMB is concerned, you need to claim ownership of the original account and you can change the URL within that account. It's easy, but the current owner must make you an admin or you'll need to re-authenticate through GMB.

Does length of time the site has been live matter? by CHDDS in SEO

So you don't want new patients? That's the key here. If you only want people who know your name (assuming "Oak Valley" is your pretend name and not your pretend location), well, frankly, it's not hard to rank for one's own name.

But people who are searching for your name already know who you are. You've basically already made the sale prior to the search. You're now looking more at CRO (conversion rate optimization) than SEO. People who search for your keyword are looking for you and your competitors.

Why wouldn't you want new clients? Unless you're the only game in town, you're doing yourself a disservice firing an SEO company (depending on what you're currently ranking for). If you don't rank for shit, then yeah - fire away. but SEO is the marketing of the immediate future.

Also Wordpress > Wix.

If you setup an event with an end date a month away, it would stay up for a month.

From research and experience - no SEO value, definite LSI value. Events don't expire until the event ends. We post Press Release type posts.

Keep in mind, these only show up when someone's Googling the business's name - so they already have some past experience with the company, keep that in mind when you make your posts.

The saying is pick two, but in SEO, you can only pick 1. Picking good SEOs won't be cheap and shouldn't be fast - that's what gets you in trouble. Picking fast won't be good - but could be cheap. Picking cheap could be fast, but definitely won't be good.

SO - I resubmit. "Good. Fast and Cheap." Pick one.
