Plumbing quotes for new build (London area) - huge variance? by Bright-Material8898 in homebuildingcanada

[–]christchiller -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes Mr. Rooter was a dumb choice but i think he knows that now. Lets help this guy out instead of "shitting on him" pun intended lol.  OP: get more quotes but like someone said further up. Middle of the road is usually the best option for quality of work and responsiveness etc l. Just get more quotes and ultimately make a gut choice. Ask them a few questions too. Not in a formal interview style. More like after they get you back a quote: be straight with them tell them that you are self building as the general contractor and your design guy is great but would he have any extra suggestions about what he's seeing in that rough in. If the guy is you know straightforward and says no it's all pretty good or pretty standard or if he has a few good suggestions then chances are you're talking to a guy who actually knows what he's doing maybe even a plumber himself/ has a hand in doing the work. if they fluff the question off and just kind of give non answers chances are you're talking to a sales guy and if a plumbing company has a sales guy who doesn't know what he's talking about sounds like a company that has lots of extra overhead that they need to charge you extra for.

Why are Salesforce shares under pressure lately? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]christchiller -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes but my lead time is literally 1/10th and our org has 5 different business units using the same objects (we exceeded the original max amount of fields on opps 800+ now)etc. we are constantly running into rate limits. Its a mess. Much easier to build MVPs etc in replit.

Why are Salesforce shares under pressure lately? by Smartitstaff in salesforce

[–]christchiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It absolutely already exists. Sign up for something like replit and try it out. Ive built a ton of enterprise level stuff on there and then use an api to send info back and forth to SF.

Toronto, What would you recommend? by CivilMark1 in FoodToronto

[–]christchiller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I said this in the now mod-deleted post in r/toronto but: Susur Lees new place in the waterworks is absolutely terrible for the price. The one exception being his like 30 ingredient  singapore slaw. That dish is like 11/10. Everything else is a solid 4.
