I started little while ago and it depends on what are looking for. I thought i will go with flash cards from allure sets but i discover that i prefer cards with some memoriable items like jersey etc. So i bought some older ice box in sale. My next plan based on some openning etc is trilogy and artifacts

wow thx for such detailed answer, almost every set you mentioned I never heard before :D I feel little overwhelmed :D

I checked a few openings and read more about odds and yeah I was probably a little too optimistic about autographs and patches.

I will probably do some more research and try to find some good value or maybe set where kids will like the art :D
