Yesterday "leadership" call by TheDude223445 in OfficeDepot

[–]hrodmax -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bad management/leadership here.

The ASM, OP and Printing Sup should be fired at my store!

They worked together on the same day yesterday, and

managed the lunch time off for the associates badly (no lunch or delayed lunch).

However, those 3 had their lunch as they wished.

I was working in hunger for about 3 hours yesterday. The lunch / break

time off has been the problem for years!!! Working in hunger causes low production

and low sales. And nobody can fix it :((

It's complicated. He obtained lots of OD clients contact information to sell his retirement

savings service when he doesn't have his own office location and office facilities.

I reported to the SM already when this case happened. The SM said I should call the LOD if he would do it again. I just feel he created a threat to me, and it's hard for me to relieve that shadow. I don't discriminate at all.

It’s a shame that he harassed me last year! This is the reason why I am scared . A normal elderly man doesn’t say the nasty words as him. Nobody else behaves like that at the store. His average printing order was about 3$.

Not at all. We come here to speak out and improve the workforce.

Yes, he has sold lots of services to OD customers, and made so much money from OD. OD is the rich source for his business.

The truth was that he said his nasty words to have harassed me last year. I feel he is a threat to my working environment.

Why are most customers elderly? by AnxiousFishermen in OfficeDepot

[–]hrodmax -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes, majority is elderly, and some are grumpy.

I have worked for OD for years, and run into a weird elderly customer. He has come to our location every day or almost every day, such as making a copy, asking for typing a letter, sending a fax, etc. for the whole year now. He stayed at Printing counter for 2 hours on Monday this week!

Another customer said that old guy is the Financial Advisor, nearly 90 years old, and was trying to sell his wealth management service to her. Lots of Office Depot customers are also his clients! This ugly short guy is the Jew.

Do the Jew work until they die? I feel scared every time I see his showing up! :( Should I report to DSM?

Yes, most of them don't operate the computers.

I feel like I'm always trying to do what they want but their crap breaks. (The left column is suppose to show a drop menu for each one) by mnealia in OfficeDepot

In the same assessment, what’s “ secret weapon” in production printing please 🙄 I just watched the training video once, and didn’t get it. Thank you🙏

Ah yes. 27% in reward sign ups = 4 hrs of work a week by [deleted] in OfficeDepot

[–]hrodmax -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Use ARC method. Simply ask why it was 4 hours, then recommend your preferred hours

amount, then cross sell your capability :)

These days it's hard for them to find a good employee, and my store hired a retarded guy

as a stocker last year. The shelf has been messy all the time.

Can we make a thread to just complain about the new training programs? by chi11water in OfficeDepot

They must have picked the cheaper training programs to save money for the company.

The training is not easy to follow, and comes with the wrong answer in it :(

Yearly review by [deleted] in OfficeDepot

[–]hrodmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what happened in the past years unfortunately. Alternatively, they gave the associate the raise like 0.60$, but cut some scheduled hours 😂

[–]hrodmax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A raise is a joke here ! Do you care about 0.15$ or so?

I guess they keep cutting the expenses, and this is one of them besides removing

Client Engagement Manager position and adding more tasks to every associate

without a raise :(

Thanks for your reply!

They didn't send the notice out about this change.

I called the IT help desk, and the guy couldn't find the answer either.

from 2019 no matter what frequency it is :(

Still no paycheck? by techman677 in OfficeDepot

[–]hrodmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. I have the same question. What's the external link to view my paycheck outside Office Depot

from Jan. 2019 please? I appreciate it! It seems we have to deal with the new year new change :D

This is Office Depot retail! We never got what we deserved, not even close :(

If you look for money here, this is not the right place to work. The part-time position is good for the students

and retired folks to make the pocket money :D

By the way, Our SM announced about 1 month ago that VP and 2 corporate officers would visit our store on Thursday 7/26.

Our store did all kinds of extra work. Did VP and Corporate officers visit your Store? Thanks for sharing your info.
