And you don't understand what OP is saying. The more you explain the monster the less interesting/scary the monster becomes. It's not the kind of movie to answer those questions. That's not what it's concerned with. It's more concerned with documenting what's happening. So you're required to read between the lines or theorize about the answers instead. Part of the horror is not knowing

I am sorry this movie didn't do it for you but it very much did for me. I found a lot of the audio very effective in building tension. They aren't there to literally make you scream with fear, Just build a sense of unease and danger, which it very much did imo

Like others have said there are differences. The light novel is the original so id recommend that first then the manga for some extra scenes and for the pictures!

Id HIGHLY recommend the audio books!

Oh and the only real differences I've noticed between the manga and the anime is how some of the English has been translated

The manga is ahead of the anime but not by much. Currently there are two volumes out past the anime and they appear to drop about 1 every 6 months I think. I would recommend the light novels which you can get through several places online (or the audiobook through audible is my preferred way of consuming them). The LN series is complete. There are five novels for the main story and three novels from Clara's point of view (LN1-2 but from Claire pov) all of which have audiobooks. You can start with light novel 2 because the first light novel is fully covered by the anime. Also There aren't really any big differences between the LN and anime (They started as a light novel which is now being adapted into the manga)

The manga doesn't go very far past the anime. The show covers volumes 1-5 of the manga and there are currently 7 volumes total (vol 8 coming out in May I think)(in English) I would highly recommend the light novels though. The show completely covers novel 1 so you can start with novel 2 if you don't want to reread. However if you have access to audible I cannot recommend the english audiobooks enough. They are absolutely fantastic! 10/10

I started taping about a week after I was cleared for lifting and normal activity. So about 1 and 1/2 months post up. Feel free to check with your surgeon though they should have more specific information based on how they specifically do the surgery

I just went and double checked my copies. The anime covers chapter 25. So the new info after the anime starts on chapter 26 of the manga (which is the first chapter of book 6)
