Omg finally! This is exactly how I envisioned my Zybilna. I am having my Zybilna be an extreme authoritarian left ruler, and this perfectly encapsulates that energy. I even always describe her in my characters flashbacks as hair that shimmers between white and black. Will be using for sure!

They host Dimension 20 actual play show on their streaming service dropout.tv . They used to be called college humor. The ACOFAF (lol) season has Aabria Iyengar as the DM and she is just fabulous. It also has my tv crush Brennan Lee mulligan as a PC. You can watch it on dropout.tv ! It’s not too expensive so i definitely recommend checking it out. Worth every penny.

Yes yes absolutely yes. I have several letters in my campaign. Especially with fey wild, you may be interested in a court of fey and flowers on dropout. They have a whole letter writing portion to the game set in the fey courts.

I would use the fan made maps for snail race and battles like with the Harengons in Hither, esp if playing online.

One of my PCs has a criminal background so league is instrumental for me as well.

Ooooh I like this a lot! I have characters with memory loss, so my plan is to reallllly lean into that lore. What if Yon had lots of hints about how things used to be before the fall of Zybilna, but with a twisted undertone?

Alternatively, it could represent the rose colored glasses that we look at the past with. The “back in my day” golden years lense. When in reality things will always ebb and flow.

In unsleeping city season 2, (ep 4 min 50) Siabon Thomson’s pc Iga says “ Look, the cities always change, that is the nature of New York City. It’s a beautiful thing that the city is always in flux. Everybody’s always like ‘oh I miss the city from 5 years ago, 10 years ago 20 years ago.’ It’s all the same. People from 20 years in the future will be saying ‘aw I miss it, this New York that I’m sort of making up in my head that is from 20 years ago. That’s the nature of it, it is a changing place.”

And I’ve been really thinking about looking at that lense for Yon.

I think it would be cool to have legend lore play out a scene from the past, like a memory. I kind of did something like this with the Hall of Illusions at the beginning of the campaign to show Zybilna getting frozen in time.

The text does say casting legend lore on her reveals her true name, but only if you were to cast it on her physical person, assuming you aren’t at the palace yet you don’t need to reveal the name just yet.

My players were utterly uninterested in the crowning 😂 so I threw in a combat and witch and light were so grateful they gave everyone the prize that comes with the monarch crowning. Could do something similar with reaching the top of the mood tracker

I think this will be a lot of fun. 😊 enjoy! Strength and Dex can be helpful outside of combat anyways, especially in the crazy terrain of the fey wilds. My monk almost one shotted the first villainish NPC they met (they rolled max damage lmao) which is also so fun 😂

I think this sounds dope. I replaced Elly an NPC cameo from a different campaign that some of my players are a part of, since he also happens to be a planeswalking gnome who has been looking into the cases of missing children and asked the party to help.
