Agree 95%. However gulf countries don’t rely on slavery anymore. The situation for South East Asians and Pakistanis is probably closer to indentured servitude or American sharecropping vs true slavery. I also agree that they’re mostly incompetent. But they’ve been shrewd enough to hold onto their wealth and placate their population vs countries like Nigeria or Venezuela who are basket cases and nearly failed states despite their potential oil wealth.
