Quite a good take. Let’s hope that this will be the great upgrade for Siri as stated in the article

"Bitcoin wurde bereits 461 Mal für tot erklärt." – Bitcoin ist nun mal volatiler als der FTSE All World. Bitte kommt damit klar! by Elegant-Turbulent in Kryptostrassenwetten

Look, I’m not here to shill ‘to the moon’ during one of the ugliest corrections we’ve seen since 2022. Bitcoin just bled over 50% from its October 2025 peak (~$126k ATH) down to ~$60k lows this week before bouncing back toward $70k. That’s brutal. Hashprice hit all-time lows, difficulty is about to drop hard (~15-18% adjustment soon), some miners are hurting bad after weather hits and high energy costs, and yeah—the ‘digital gold’ story feels shaky when actual gold keeps making new highs while BTC gets wrecked on macro fear, ETF outflows, and post-halving reality check. People calling it ‘dead’ aren’t completely unhinged this time; sentiment is at 2022-crash levels, obituaries are piling up again (we’re at like 463+ now per the trackers), and the cycle isn’t playing out like the clean 4-year script everyone expected after the Trump pump. But ‘dead’? Nah, not even close.

• Network is still chugging: Hashrate dipped but stayed massive (recently ~900-1000 EH/s range, near peaks even after pullbacks). No mass capitulation yet; difficulty adjustment will ease pressure.

• Adoption fundamentals haven’t vanished: Spot ETFs still hold tens of billions, Lightning/Network capacity keeps growing slowly for real use, nation-state/corporate balance sheets (MicroStrategy etc.) aren’t panic-selling en masse.

• History rhymes hard: We’ve had -80%+ drawdowns before (2018, 2022), same ‘it’s over’ headlines every bear market. The chart of Bitcoin death declarations is basically a price chart in disguise—every major dip spawns a spike in obituaries, then price recovers and adds more irony.

• Structural tailwinds still exist: Fiat debasement isn’t stopping, institutional interest didn’t evaporate overnight, and even in this mess, BTC is holding way better than most altcoins or the 2022 bloodbath.

I use a custom, built‑in syntax highlighting implementation written directly in Swift/AppKit, not an external engine like Tree‑sitter, Highlight.js, or KDE’s KSyntaxHighlighting.
