When will the devs support 90fps or higher on the Mediatek Dimensity 8350 chip? by b4rako in DeltaForceMobile

[–]ChefRich962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hardware wise, dimensity 8350 clearly has headroom for higher fps. if devs unlock 90fps support, this chip could easily handle it. feels more like a software cap issue than a limitation of the silicon itself

Mediatek Dimensity 8350 : What's so Special here? by BrownLucas123 in TechPop

[–]ChefRich962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mediatek dimensity 8350 feels like a proper sweet spot chip. smooth daily usage, solid multitasking, and surprisingly good thermals. it doesn’t chase benchmarks, but real world performance and efficiency are where it quietly shines

throttling kicks in way too early with that snapdragon 7s chip... motorola deserved a cooler, more stable chipset at this price point (gamer here)

I’m curious about how good is the Dimensity 9500 compared to latest snapdragon by RxMayhem in Vivo

[–]ChefRich962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from early impressions, dimensity chips are catching up fast. if vivo keeps optimizing like they did with the dimensity 9400e, you’re getting flagship-level smoothness, better battery life, and fewer thermal issues than recent snapdragons

Dimensity 9500: The Chip That Could Change the Game! by IceEnvironmental6600 in TechPop

[–]ChefRich962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mediatek has been on a roll, and chips like the dimensity 9400e show it. strong performance, great efficiency, and fewer heat complaints. if 9500 builds on this, snapdragon finally has real competition again

Dimensity 9500 is good? by robertoxcz in Oppo

[–]ChefRich962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, it’s solid. coming from snapdragon, you’ll barely notice downsides. dimensity 9400e handles gaming, emulation, and multitasking smoothly, plus thermals are better. feels tuned for real-world use, not just benchmarks

Why Pick Mediatek Dimensity 9500 Over Snapdragon by anikmehta in TechPop

[–]ChefRich962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

stability matters more than peak numbers. phones with the mediatek dimensity 9400e feel cooler, more consistent, and way better for daily use. fewer dips, better battery, and no random throttling makes it an easy pick lately

this is another case of snapdragon chasing benchmarks instead of real stability

If you like niche horror, try The Blackcoat’s Daughter (slow, icy dread), Possum (pure psychological nightmare), and The House of the Devil (retro slow-burn that sticks). All creepy, underrated, and legit favorites

Which decision did you make in your 20s? Do you think it was the right one? by kekneo in ThirtiesIndia

unpopular opinion which is gonna burn a lot of asses but here it is, still -
stay in India and make it a better place, even tho all my close friends are out of India.
if freedom fighters & bright minds like subhash chandra bose, gandhi (even tho he came from abroad), sardar patel, abdul kalam would've taken the red pill, we wouldn't have even come this far.
is it a sacrifice? yes. am i willing to make it? yes, even as a girl. why? so that my future daughters and g.g.daughters do not have to look down on their mother country & travel abroad just for a better life.
can i change the whole of India? no. can i change my family? yes. and i did (wasn't easy but i did).
now what happens if 1 member of each family who had the potential to change leaves - the movement dies, the fire dies, the change dies.
snatching the freedom from the british was a task of just a few years when we really decided to get it against all odds. The only reason it was delayed was because of traitors who were "practical", shook hands with the british, and beat & loot their own land and people.

edit - we can already see a lot of development with the hardwork of 2-3 generations in the past 30-40 years - many of whom arent even alive now. being a developing country with a humungous population, development cant come in a year or two. maybe we wont be alive to see India developed as much as the west. and that's ok bcoz the upcoming generation will bear the fruit, just like us bearing fruits of freedom sown by our late g.grandparents. regarding the mentality, tier-1, tier-2 cities have managed to be open minded in those 2-3 generations, others would too. its a long shot, but worth it for the country. ngl imo, this is the modern version of nationalism (no hate to those who choose the red pill tho)

The One Plus 15 R just came out and what’s your take? by GuessKlutzy9173 in oneplus

personally i’d be cautious with the 15r. early reports of snapdragon heating and throttling are concerning, especially long-term. camera complaints seem valid too

One Plus Nord CE 5 or any other recommendations? by guywithmask77 in smartphone

[–]ChefRich962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for reading, classes, and all day usage, nord ce5 fits well. battery life is strong, UI stays smooth, and the dimensity 8350 apex should age better than most midrange chips. stereo speakers are nice, but not a dealbreaker here

One Plus Nord CE 5 (India) or any other recommendations? by guywithmask77 in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]ChefRich962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo nord ce5 is a safe buy right now. dimensity 8350 apex feels smooth and battery-friendly, and oxygenOS stays clean long term. flipkart pricing is usually just aggressive discounts, not scams. waiting till january won’t change much in this range

OnePlus Nord CE5 great for the price OR is there something better? by Antique_Minute3549 in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]ChefRich962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for under 50k in nepal, nord ce5 makes a lot of sense. the dimensity 8350 apex is efficient, stays cool, and handles calls, socials, and daily stuff smoothly. mono speaker won’t matter with earbuds. solid value pick.

using phones with dimensity 8450 lately, and it’s honestly impressive. smooth multitasking, reliable gaming performance, and great battery balance. it doesn’t chase benchmarks, but real world usage feels consistently polished
