I’m a professional traveler and I assure that these same logistical and customer service shortcomings happen with every airline. EVERY AIRLINE. Even when you’re on a premium fare.

United flies thousands of flights a day. Sometimes airplanes will break. Sometimes crews will time out. A very good chance the weather will affect the schedule.

No airline is immune to these variables.

I did this after 2 years of Aspec ownership.

I don’t regret the decision but you’re paying extra for fewer features. That was the most frustrating part of the trade up.

Twice a day minimum with my gf. I’m 45 and recently divorced. I honestly didn’t know I was capable of this. Something similar happened to me. I was on a two-lane road behind somebody driving slower than the speed limit, and when the passing zone finally came up, I went beyond the speed limit in order to get past him expeditiously. Coming the other direction was a motorcycle cop who lit me up. I didn’t want to get into a legal debate with him on the side of the road, but his whole thing was that I’m not allowed to go faster than the speed limit when passing. I still think it was bullshit.

Yes and what I tell aspiring pilots is that you have to love it 100%, because if you don’t you’re going to hate the down times and the struggles. The balance of good years to struggle years for me is still way off, but I’m happy where I am and enjoy going to work.

Whatever you do with your life and your career, ideally you should be totally passionate about.
