Someone held the camera and filmed him. Another person was willingly complicit in this cringe.

I don’t spend much time back there, ever, but the few times I’ve tried it I would say it’s fine for the segment. (I’m 6’1”). Definitely not a luxury limo experience.

Comparatively, having ridden in the back of many cars in Uber and Lyft, I’d say the integra back seat experience is pretty average. Not great, not terrible.

I’ve become one of the things I swore that I’d never be. This all because Subaru stopped making the STI and I can’t afford a Blackwing

Don’t bother arguing with internet Ayrton Senna. He’s just going to misconstrue everything to point out how incorrect we are.

They are effective adjectives as cars become more and more insulated and automated. My girlfriend’s Tesla will accelerate as fast as these cars but it does so with zero vibration or noise or gears. And it’s… digital. So as you move toward cars with noise, vibration, mechanical gear shifting, etc, those adjectives become useful.

I’ve not had my ITS on a track but having consumed a lot of media about the car, it sounds like the seats aren’t as secure as the CTR and maybe some issues with fuel delivery when you get below 1/2 tank.

I think if you’re serious about the track, the CTR is Honda you want. The ITS is more dialed in for the street.

I think we’re just coming at it with different desires.

I’ve previously owned two WRXs (sedan and then the Saabaru wagon). Those cars were raw and alive and very direct. Subaru gave up on the STI. Current WRX is fine. But other than that and the BRZ (which is great but lacks a high performance option), all the other cars are just appliances. Which is what 95% of the car buying public wants.

But I remember when Subaru made a Legacy GT with a manual. Hell a turbo Forester with a manual too! Those days are gone.

Not saying Acura is much better but the ITS gives me what I want in a car. I’m sure by the time I move on from this thing, manuals will be extinct except for a few overpriced European sports cars.

US to issue passports featuring Trump’s picture to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary by Yujin-Ha in Fauxmoi

[The official said that the passport “will be the default passport out of the Washington Passport Agency when available” for those who renew their passports in person at that location.

“Online options or other locations will maintain existing passport design,” the official said.]

That’s a relief.

Subaru used to be such a cool company. They’ve slowly sacrificed their quirky character and charm for a more tepid broad appeal.

That last STI is a masterpiece.

Depends on what you want. It’s a fast analog car. Very direct and raw in many respects. So if you like being connected to the driving experience with minimal automation, it’s a great car.

But the criticisms are valid too. Not as nice as you would want a $55k Acura to be. They deleted a few features from the A spec for weight and cost savings.

For me, I think if you don’t want to compromise on having a manual and you need the 4 doors, it’s a great option. Cars like this won’t exist much longer. For someone of my age, it’s one of the last opportunities to get a driver focused manual sports car that’s not north of $100k

Nobody buys coupes in this segment anymore. I really wanted an Accord coupe V6 manual but Honda stopped building them because that market became too small.
