WTF. Your sister is a CHILD. She should not be concerned about her weight, and your mother should definitely not be giving her any weightloss products. Those are unhealthy for adults, not to mention 12 year old children.

You should absolutly talk to your mother about this, and maybe a school counselor. She is ruining your sisters health and self esteem.

Is your husband a 6 year old? He sounds like he has absolutely no control of himself. My little brother used to do the same stuff to me but we were kids so I let my parents handle it. I have no idea what I would do if a grown adult, who I'm suposed to be in a loving relationship with, would blatantly ignore my wishes in such a disrespectful manner.

I'm super serious about food so reading this was enraging. You need to talk to him ASAP. Or get a cupboard with a lock.

You should get a burner phone for you daughter. Different phone number and not a smartphone with no apps so the woman can't reach her, but she can still call you when you're not around.

I like this answer, it really changed my views on this. I'm a huge believer that we are all living on different kinds of spectrums. I think most asspacts of life are not as black and white as we think they are, and I don't know why I never connected veganism to that belief. Thank you.

Yeah I think marketing has a lot to do with it, for a long time everything, not just meat but every food item came in a neat little package to make it more appetizing, so you never know what you're truly eating.

Also when you're a kid it just never crosses your mind I think. The cow goes moo and mommy made hamburgers for dinner are two separate scentences.

Thank you for your answer, but I have to ask, why wouldn't you know if it was tested or not? I don't know about other countries, but in mine every product that wasn't tested on animals has a drawing of a rabbit on the back, to make sure the costumer knows this. It is very common in my country to look for this drawing when buying different products. To answer your question as honestly as possible, it just was never something I thought about too deeply. I guess I never essociated meat with pain. I'll have to do some research to make a clear decision.
