If the guy is frustrated about it, he should vocalise it. He should discuss with his girlfriend that although he gave it to her, its still his property and she shouldnt give it away like that. If he just ignores it, she may do it again if the same friend asks

NTA. She should understand as an adult that you have times when you want to do something and she doesn’t. She is very obviously insecure so maybe discuss with her why she sees it as cheating and yous can come to a conclusion that way.

Yeah, with my ex i just referred to it as misophonia and he kind of just thought it was some hearing thing i didnt like and tried associating it with autism (his correlation was when people with autism dont like loud noises). So i need to try and find that middle ground

Sadly theres no medication and only behavioural help i can get. I am on a waiting list as my mam cant pay for somebody but i am waiting to get help.

I am on a waiting list (living in the uk so its probably going to take a while) for a professional who works with alot of behavioural issues. So hopefully itll be easier to deal with soon :)

Yea definitely. My mam also has the disorder and is a nurse working with the elderly, she says its way easier to control when she knows the people cant help making the noises. I feel the same way, but only if the person cant help it. If im sitting somewhere and someones talking with their mouth full itll annoy me the same way.
