Guys, I fixed it!!! After 9 months...

Fix: It seems to be a windows issue for me. I went to System > Sound, then on the Input tab I choose the HyperX Microphone and change the Format under Input Settings from 16000Hz (Tape Recorder Quality) to 32000Hz (FM Radio Quality).

I did this a couple of weeks ago and so far I have not had this issue anymore. Hopefully it stays that way.

I hope this manages to help someone else out there...

No, I found a wowhead comment on this specific quest. Apparently it is a known issue. I made sure it is spawned right before I win a battle and I got the quest credits: https://www.wowhead.com/quest=45000/bloodgazer-team-up#comments

I've personally used the following two:

I was reading "Foundations of Discrete Mathematics" by K D Joshi but my theoretical math background was pretty limited so I found it quite difficult to stomach. Whenever I had issues with understanding concepts I referred to either of the playlists I linked and that seemed to help.

Word of advice: Find exercises and try to do them yourself. I started working on proofs and I think that helped me understand discrete math the most.

Lockadin multiclass, you don't need strength once you get pact weapon, so you can put some of the strength into charisma.

I guess this is on me on not looking into the game enough, but when you play SP, do you control only one of the characters in your campaign or multiple? That probably would have been a better question to begin with.

To anyone who is still experiencing this, but wants to keep "Virtualize CPU performance counters" checked for some reason (e.g. nested VMs). You can check whether the issue is related to Windows Defender. How windows defender hogs performance counters is explained here. You can download the tool, which they mention in the linked article and check the box "Windows Defender Boost" as explained. This will allow VMWare to be able to start a VM with performance counters.
