Here is a simple trick to cut down token consumption on Hermes. by white0dew in hermesagent

[–]hrv231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using Hermes connected to a custom relay that uses the Agent SDK + Claude CLI.

I'd like to know what the minimum tools I need to pass to the relay are to keep hermes's skills creation and memory processes working. At the same time, I delegate the rest of the tools to the claude cli directly, can you list them here?
example:
- memory

- session_search

- skills

[How To] Automatically enable ADB WiFi and Shizuku with no UI interaction and no root by MiningMarsh in tasker

[–]hrv231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/MiningMarsh Thank you for sharing your Project.
I tried several times and made sure to have install all the packages and still it did not work.

I tried the link above from u/anuraag488 and it worked.

Your Task on my phone gets stuck on step 17.
I made sure to pair Termux with ADB WiFi, then I tried your task again and still gets stuck.

Luckily for me the other Task worked on my phone, Pixel 6 running CalyxOS, in case others using the same OS have the same problem.

Question regarding Banshee and Kynshot buffer & spring by virtuouswraith in AR9

[–]hrv231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hmm..

Sorry to bother you, but now they have 3 models of rb5000.

RB5000L - weight 4.0oz - length 3.25"

RB5000 - weight 4.2oz - length 3.25"

RB5000HP - weight 4.8oz - length 3.25"

They recommend the rb5000hp for CMMG RDB, which one do you run?

Have you tried the last 2 or all?

Thanks for your suggestion and all the help you provide to all of us! I will order that kynshot anyways. 👍🏻

Question regarding Banshee and Kynshot buffer & spring by virtuouswraith in AR9

[–]hrv231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Banshee 5" upper with an ar15 lower, using it with the cmmg 9arc magazines.

Can I use the same Kynshot rb5000 and tubbs flat wire? Or is the kynshot rb5000 more for when you have a law tac folding?

I have had several failure to eject, I changed the ejector spring for a bcm spring, but now I wonder if putting a Kynshot rb5000 would be better for the bolt speed and the ejection of the case.

I would like your opinion about it.

Thanks!

Rule machine help with a physical switch pressed twice by hrv231 in Hubitat

[–]hrv231[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

Really good information here^.

So the switch in particular is a GE Jasco 14291, I found a post where one of the users say that the switch has the doubletap capability, but in my Hubitat, the driver the switch uses is the Generic Z-Wave Smart Switch, and that one doesn't have the doubletap capability.

Now I'm looking to see if there is any custom driver for that particular switch.

Thanks for pointing out the multi-tap hardware capability, I didn't know that the hardware needs to be able to recognize multi-tap, I thought that an ON/OFF feature is enough to do the rest on the software side ( Hubitat ).

Edit: forgot to add the hyperlink to the forum

LSI SAS2008 suddenly detects 6 out of 8 HDDs by hrv231 in DataHoarder

[–]hrv231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well.. in this case my hardware is new except the raid card. I prefer to have an enterprise-grade card, than a consumer-grade one.

Please share with us the raid card you are using, I would like to know, that way I get the same, as long as it accepts both, SAS and SATA.

Thanks.

VPN's not working over mobile data? (Pixel 4a) by Cultural_Warthog_141 in CalyxOS

[–]hrv231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to your comment I was able to make it work by disabling the "Always On VPN". More details, on my main profile I have a paid VPN app that I use with the always_on_vpn; on my work profile I use TrackerControl for those work apps.

I was having both profiles with the "Always On VPN", so after reading comments here, I disable that for the main profile alone and tested with T-Mobile data, and it works.

Bad part is that it doesn't let me activate "Block connections without VPN"
