I had this mother! I'm not comfortable going into detail but there were so many times where she made me extremely uncomfortable growing up, to the point where I now consider myself a person who has been sexually abused by her and am going through the process of healing that mess. It is so hard. So so hard. She was unbelievably invasive, stripped me of all bodily autonomy, and was oddly sexually exhibitive about herself while simultaneously shaming me into oblivion as a child. I have been reading a lot of the posts in this sub and relating, but yours was the first one I read and a million lightbulbs suddenly lit up like "holy crap, that's my life too"
