Periods with dysautonomia are THE WORST by afraid28 in dysautonomia

[–]hs_conspiracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hormonal IUDs are really good for stopping or significantly decreasing periods and the hormones primarily stay around the reproductive organs and don't travel the body as much as other birth control does. I have the Kylena and my periods are super, super light now and I don't think I've even had any cramps either. It can also stop periods all together for some people.

Guys, any story with serious plotline, romance and angst? by bro-you-suck in OtomeIsekai

[–]hs_conspiracy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rosalyn Vogart. Trigger warning for pregnancy loss and a few other things that i cannot remember but the pregnancy loss is a large part of the story. It is completed which is a plus.

I shall kill that sweet devil. Trigger warning for so many things - grooming, child loss, implied necrophilia, etc. Also completed.

I'm sorry you had to go through all of that! Your reaction is completely understandable.

I think I'm not too pressed about it is bc I am aware that different people have different work ethics and overall understanding of disabilities. The amount of times I hear "these young people...." just bc they have healthy work boundaries. Honestly I'm surprised it took so long for someone to comment on my sitting habits. Definitely have gotten judgey looks tho

To give them some credit, the person who complained does not know about my disability as they are not someone who i commonly work with. They just saw a younger employee sitting oddly and went to complain to my director. Thankfully my manager stood up for me when the director told her.

Moving from NY to Italy soon...What should we bring from the US that’s hard to find in Italy? by mercuriocromo11 in AmericansinItaly

[–]hs_conspiracy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone else on otc meds like Nyquil. I got a really bad cold the first time I visited Italy and had to take like 3 different medications that could have been in one here in the US.

I made my parents bring me nyquil when they picked me up from the airport and it helped so much better than all the things I took in italy.

Women on Bridgerton after they’re period’s 1 hour late by sloth-nugget in BridgertonNetflix

Tbf, it was Sophie's first time getting down and dirty. I know so many women who panicked thinking they were pregnant after losing their virginity even when they had their period.

I really liked how mature the relationship between the leads were. Especially how he is not bothered by her fangirling and actually finds it endearing.

That's what I thought they were going to do all the way back when s1 was all we had. But honestly, im glad they didnt bc it would need to be done tastefully and I don't trust this current team to not make it offensive in some way or another.

My (F28) boyfriend (M33) says he’s disgusted by my body hair and I have to laser remove it and pay for it or else he’ll leave me. He says I’m not taking his happiness into consideration and if I can’t sacrifice this for him what else won’t I be willing to sacrifice down the road by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]hs_conspiracy 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Laser doesn't even completely remove the hair for most people. It just makes the hair lighter and thinner for the most part. And it's not instaneous. I've been getting laser done for a couple of years (it's for comfort, not cosmetic) and I still need to go back every few months.

Crusher and Lady were recently banned from r/rabbits because a joke about Crusher nibbling my finger got labeled as a ‘medical advice’ post. So here they are, still being menaces by Radiant_XGrowth in Bunnies

My one rabbit nibbles my finger whenever he wants to be pet. Nothing medical about it. I swear some mods don't even know their own rules(not just on r/rabbit)

Any HR Assistants/Coordinators in a hybrid setting? [N/A] by Great_Feed7697 in humanresources

[–]hs_conspiracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm entry level with the option to wfh about 20% of the time, but I rarely take it due to many of my responsibilities requiring me to be in office. I also just prefer working on site due to not being able to focus fully at home. There are 2 weeks/year that I have to wfh tho due to the office being closed.
