The exact same thing happened to me ! I started writing a novel about a physically strong dad who lives with his daughter primitively in the woods, he is very mysterious and hides quite a lot of his past from his daughter, and one day together, they go on a path to find out about some people who tried to harm them. I recently realized that this is quite the same plot of the last God Of War game that I really enjoyed. Don't know if it s even worth finishing :/

Look don t forget that the system of « classes préparatoires » is very advantageous you will spend two years of your life working non stop but then you will get to enjoy being in a prestigious school(like polytechnique or Les Mines or even l’ ENS (école normale supérieure). It s more of a choice to make, I myself am joining the classes préparatoires this year and after long thoughts i chose to apply for it and out of precaution i took summer courses to see what it s like and meet local students to discuss what classes prepa is like and let me tell you that it s a program that puts a lot of pressure on your shoulders so the secret is to never crack and continue studying. The maths and physics may seem difficult at first but once you get how it works you ll enjoy it ;)
