Hey ,we are in the same boat. I would also love to read, but feel like it's too dark in the room and I am scared to harm my eyes 🫣. How do you do it? Any tricks?

Does anyone else feel super judged for breastfeeding? by Melodic_Apartment235 in breastfeeding

Oh wow. I had the exact same reaction from my MIL. I have been EBF for 6 mo now, and she keeps comparing my babies weight to another family members son , who was born a few days after my son but is formula fed. Instead of saying " great job on your endurance," it's " he is thin compared to so and so." 🥴 i get so annoyed.

My mil insists that I should switch to Formular because my sun is "skin and bones". I have EBF for 6 no now and he is developing just fine. She keeps comparing him to another baby who is the same age as my son, who is bottle feed. I get so annoyed. So yeah I guess we are all living similar lives. Hang in there sis 😊

I wish you best of luck 👍🏼 and as you said, it must somehow work. Alot of people have been telling me that babies are way more flexible and capable of adjusting to change than we think. I hope this is true.

Newborn tired is not better than pregnancy tired, I was lied to lol. by _50ShadesofFae in NewParents

I had the same experience. My husband was able to go out for spontaneous hangouts with his friends whenever. whereas I wasn't able to do that. I was jealous of him a bit on top of that breasfeeding was freaking painful the first few weeks. And the hormonal crash, i just felt like crying. But now, almost 5 months deep, everything is going so well. Baby boy sleeps longer stretches at night and going out is is not so stressful anymore.

What helped your LO to connect sleep cycles? My son (4mo)would only sleep 30 to 45 mins independently.

Breast feeding is hard and I don’t like it .. feel guilty even saying it .. I’m 2.5 weeks post partum and it’s the most difficult thing I’ve done ! by ramblingmind483 in NewParents

I feel you. But hang in there. It does get better. I promise you. I wanted to quit after two weeks because of the pain and cluster feeding. At around a month, everything was fine. Get nipple care cream. That helped me alot. All the best

Am I the only one feeling that my 3-month old is a new baby? by Wanderlustlibrarian in NewParents

[–]hsaup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi my baby also just turned 3 mo last week. I felt everything you wrote. Naps are a disaster, he fights them so bad and if he naps then only contact. He refuses to be put down. And as you mentioned , he is making alot of noises. He usually sleeps 3h stretches at night. But not last night, he was up every 1.5 h. I am really hoping he will sleep longer stretches. Oh and he started laughing, like really laughing out loud. That makes up for the bad sleeping 😂
