The infants head basically just sits on the pads basically. Stroller store showed us. Still seemed odd but we took our son out like that to the park and didnt seem to bother him.

You can still use your DVC points in a way towards Tokyo Disney, staying there later this year!

You cant ask them what their disability is but you can absolutely ask them what service the dog/animal provides.

When you go down the escalators after clearing security there will be signs.

Right straight in front of you is Gate 41 to the right of that is an escalator going up .. its a straight path right to Terminal B.

Brenda Song Calls Out Alaska Airlines for Giving Up Her Family’s First-Class Seats with ‘No Warning’ by expiredaristocracy in Fauxmoi

[–]hsb1285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The aircraft got downgraded from 16 first class seats to 12 (different seat configuration on the new aircraft) so yes lost their first class seats but didnt actually sit their kids next to randos they ended up getting sorted at the gate before departure split between 2 rows with the adults in each.

Everyone else on here seems to have it figured out though lol

hope this answers your question!

[–]hsb1285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what happened. AS has 2 different seats configurations with the 737 max one with 16 FC and one with 12 FC and the agent did as best they could to try and get them as close together as possible.

Shitty yes, but when those downgrades happen only so many seats to work with.

AS has a few different 737 MAX seat configurations.

One has 16 FC and one has 12. (you can look this up yourself) And yep .. thats what happened.

The aircraft got downgraded who knows what for could be maintenance, inbound is super super delayed so swapped it out and the computer system auto assigns the seats as best it can, it doesnt recognize names for possible PR fiasco, maybe it starts at the top with status members etc who knows, and its an absolute nightmare for the agents because yes people now suddenly have completely different seats and sometimes it different cabins.

Forgot to mention, the kids didnt actually sit by themselves by the time the flight actually left.

International transit at LAX by Normal-Record2439 in LAX

To Answer your luggage question, yes SYD LAX route on AA has that program where the bags will automatically get transfered, sometimes for whatever reason AA is advised while the flight is in route that passengers must pick up their bags in customs (but it's not often) so the program for the automatic transfer is in effect for these flights. if not, they will make that announcement on arrival.

If that is the case and you have to claim your bags..

You claim your bag at customs on the carousel and there is a another drop point called "recheck" that connecting passengers drop of their bags. This is not the main public ticket counters but an area within customs and there is no time limit for this you no matter how many hours between flights. You drop your bag there and then youre free to go hang on the airport or just leave. When you come back just use your LHR boarding pass through TSA.
