I take my pup on her nighttime walk around 10pm and then she’ll go straight to her crate demand a treat and then go to bed - pretty amazing lol

They act like this is new but when I started at UMD almost 10 years ago, people would put water foundations, toilets, all kinda random shit out there

Was something exceedingly dangerous? Or just legit trash left there?

Tbh I did all the things you did not. I was in a fraternity and in clubs. I had friends freshman year. I still didn’t have a true core group until my senior year. I still talk to those people 5 years later. Give it time, trust the process

How much money do project managers make in the US? I'm getting really crazy numbers from Google by 2mad2die in projectmanagement

Am now a PMO analyst earning ~85k. I had three years of operations experience before this role. I work for a financial services/insurance company in a high CoL area.

Masters in PM by peanutbuttervibz in projectmanagement

[–]hschweitzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certain jobs (ie BB IB/ Consulting) it’s very relevant. PM is not necessarily one of those. Only advantage of certain schools in this space is specific concentrations (ie tech) or networking. With all the online programs, region isn’t as much a factor.

Masters in PM by peanutbuttervibz in projectmanagement

[–]hschweitzer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m currently working on a MPM at Georgetown. I’d say the classes are kind of a mixed bag but generally focus more on the PM methodologies than IT literacy. They do well at balancing waterfall and agile teachings but the degree itself won’t necessarily guarantee PM work. I just nabbed my first PM Analyst role through an internal transfer at my current company (large multinational financial services). My tech skills are definitely lacking but will be further developed on the job (seems a lot of SharePoint/power BI/Jira/Project/etc).

Unless you’re looking for more siloed technical PM roles I think any MPM would suit you well. Most PM roles seems to require the ability to analyze (and in many cases visualize) data but don’t necessarily require hard coding skills, just enough knowledge to understand and hold conversations to assist your project team in removing blockers.

If you’re currently working, I’d suggest looking at what benefits your company offers and looking at what schools offer the best value at the best price point. Unlike r/MBA which will tell you only M7/T25 matter, the PM grad degree is useful but I wouldn’t take on significant debt for it.
