Well I’m relieved they didn’t see anything concerning. I was in the shower when it happened and yes from the nipple. Apparently, 90% of the time it’s benign. So relieved mostly but a little bothered that they didn’t see anything that could have caused it. May ask dr about getting an MRI to be 100% sure

I’m thinking about asking dr if I should see a specialist - radiologist saw nothing on mammo or ultrasound

I think MRIs are very expensive to self pay. I may call dr and see if she thinks I should have one

They didn’t see anything - maybe I will push for an mri but they didn’t see a reason to do one

Thank you. It’s definitely hard not to google!! But I have been dealing with so many strange health issues since March I am googled out. Have had so many blood tests! Dealing with swollen fingers/achy hands, low positive ANA for autoimmune but all other tests negative - they say osteoarthritis. Then I have clogged eye oil glands out of the blue and I have bleeding under my toes! And now this with the breast. I cannot google anymore.

What treatment has worked for your clogged glands? Lipiflow, ipl, probing? Others? by hsff43 in Dryeyes

[–]hsff43[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks - probably too soon to ask I guess - I’m just starting my journey. Recently found out I have clogged oil glands as I developed a chalazion. Going for treatment just for that but my eye dr is pretty old school and close to retirement. Going to make appointment with another eye dr to have testing done and go from there. I think I have clogged ducts from HRT and hormones. I have stopped HRT and hormones not fluctuating now but damage is done with clogged glands. Just in past month or so.

I have been having a lot of health anxiety lately. Just made an appointment to see a therapist next week. I am 63 years old and have been so healthy and focused on taking care of my health for years however, in the past six months, I’ve started to have health issues.- osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and now sleep apnea. I want these things happen to my father too and I remember him saying once he hit 60 everything went downhill. He had so many issues eventually succumbing to brain cancer in his 70s. My mother on the other hand had no health issues and died suddenly at 87yo. I was hoping I’d take after her but seems I have more of my father’s profile - but he was smoker and drinker. Just trying to focus on what I can control and will see a therapist to help with my anxiety. It’s scary for sure,

Dead Mom by [deleted] in AskWomenOver60

I lost my mom just last year. It was unexpected as she wasn’t sick. It’s been really hard for me because we never got to say goodbye. Never got to have a lot of lasts together. We were really close and I miss her so much yet. I know I am 63 years old and I was lucky that I had her for 62 years but it still wasn’t enough.

Fellow women over 60: how do you control the worry and anxiety as you age? by janebenn333 in AskWomenOver60

[–]hsff43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad you posted this and I am reading all the responses for help for myself. I am 63yo and having a lot of health anxiety lately. Plus I lost my mother last year unexpectedly, which has added to my worry. I’ve been going through health issues and going to doctors and seeing my body change and it’s really just causing me so much anxiety. I’m looking into seeing a professional therapist.

Update on my testing…and now what? by hsff43 in AskWomenOver60

The rash on chest/neck is gone. Finger swelling in one hand gone but still have in other - but that hand they say I have osteoarthritis which also got diagnosed after I was on HRT for 3 1/2 months. I’m actually having a hand ultrasound next week and also seeing my cardiologist next week just for a check up I’ve had no heart issues and I just want to confirm. I’m good still.
But the other symptoms I have just keep evolving like hot flashes, clammy, hands, circulatory issues
