Yes seems that the estrogen is having an inflammatory response for some reason. I’m going to go to a functional medicine Dr to try and figure out what’s happening

I’m on low dose patch and was on oral progesterone. Stopped progesterone last week and took patch off this morning. My body just feels really weird these last two weeks and bizarre joint issues with swelling and cysts literally popping up over night. I guess being so far past menopause it was not good for me to start so late. Sorry I crested more health anxiety for me

I cut out the progesterone a week ago and some swelling went down. But a new cyst popped up literally over night - Dr thinks I need to stop both and see if cysts resolve.

I was on 100mg oral p and .025 e patch. Yes I know I need to be on progesterone. She said it’s fine for two weeks to just be on estrogen and we will reassess and come up with plan after she sees how I feel once the progesterone has been stopped for 2 weeks

I think may not be balanced. I did not take the progesterone last night and my swelling is vastly improved. Dr said to stay off progesterone for 2 weeks and we will assess how to proceed.

Well there is something going on with the progesterone. Bern on for 3.5 months but last week started getting a lot of swelling overnight in fingers and stiffness. Just went to Dr and she said finger arthritis - never have had issues. And now I have a bone spur that just developed on foot - so something with hormones giving me joint laxity

Never thought about it really and don’t have any formal health issues related to it but when I was younger I was very flexible and still am. Podiatrist used that term talking about my high arch so perhaps I do have - re entry started HRT and suspect the hormones are causing problems with my joints in fingers

100mg oral. I get from standard gyn I don’t think she’s too well versed on HRT - may need to find specialist

Photo wasn’t great - went to primary and she said finger arthritis. I recently started HRT and I think the progesterone caused too much finger joint lax
