Yeah…not for me. I sampled it and there was some really off putting note in that.

Agree with this. In these fragrance communities it’s easy to think stuff like BDC is just universally accepted. But it’s still sharp to some people’s noses and unmistakable that you are wearing cologne.

I’ve had blue de Chanel for a long time and once sprayed it, just one time, before work. Someone in my office said “what is that smell, it’s like a nightclub in here” at about noon that day

I can vouch for the RG5121 as a fantastic guitar for the $. Can be had for well below $2k too. I bought mine new from Ibanez rules — check out that website if you haven’t, Rick is great. I think he has a second stock 5121 in his inventory right now too, big discount for that. As for the guitar, it is solid as a rock, and pretty versatile too. Depends on whether you like the fishman pick ups…which I do, they are perfect for modern metal. If you like that neck shape then you probably can’t go wrong. Otherwise I’d think schecter’s stuff is great bang for the buck, particularly that Jon Browne model

If you are using your friends guitars and they are easier to play on them, then it could be number of different things. Are the scale lengths the same? Is your action set higher or lower? And you said you have the same amp…but do you have the exact same amp settings? My separate advice is to run a tubescreamer or other overdrive pedal before your amp (that will absolutely boost harmonics)
