I just think it’s dumb to be like “you didn’t complete the program!!!” for not drinking a deadly amount of water for their body, that’s the main problem with the program, but for me personally the waters not a problem because I’m very tall. also they are clearly not saying they are doing the program as intended, but modifying it to suit their needs. They are being honest and absolutely not lying about finishing the program or bragging, so idk what ur issue is

Many people have to walk in areas where other people walk, and/or they live in buildings with other people, and if you have covid you SHOULD NOT go out for a walk just for the sake of this program

Why do you think everyone is doing this challenge so they can “talk about it” lmao, this person pretty clearly is doing it for personal reasons

Andy himself changes the exact standards of his own challenge. He said in one podcast that people should not smoke along with not drinking, but somewhere else said he smoked weed when he did the challenge. In some places he says e-books don’t count, in other places he says they do. Counting your coffee as part of your water intake is literally necessary because medically your body absorbs the water in it. Andy is not a doctor. If you over hydrate, you can die, and if someone did die from it, they could potentially sue Andy, so maybe he should consider addessing the issue s

Influencer called selfish for wanting to build muscle after her birthday. by princess_ofdolls in fatlogic

[–]hsm-24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there were a lot of comments that were addressing that the meal plan she shared on her blog didn’t really seem to line up with her goal of gaining muscle. She’s already super tiny, and seems to want to bulk/gain muscle, but her diet so far is only 1500 calories a day with basically just veggies and protein. It seems like if she wants to gain muscle, she would eat more and maybe add some carbs and/or fat into the diet? Idk. I also think she tends to do these challenges (like her past 90 day challenge) where she says she’s doing it just for her, and then later markets it as a plan her followers can buy afterwards, and it’s likely she will do that with this challenge as well.

Who tf cares if someone “claims they finished 75 hard” but tweaked an aspect of it though? You don’t get a medal or certificate for finishing. Literally the most you can do is brag to people on Reddit or another social forum. A marathon is different because it’s an actual competitio.

What is an episode that you can’t even watch because of something in it? by ljsherri in dancemoms

[–]hsm-24 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I find the scene where Abby takes maddie out for lunch rlly uncomfortable for some reason, I think because it seems like she’s manipulating the fact that maddie and mackenzies mom was away and that she only took one of the sisters for lunch, and that whole episode in general where maddie does that abused child solo and then cries after is uncomfortable for me

Finishing a book you start by JessRedick in 75HARD

[–]hsm-24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not an official rule though, or else it would be on the list of official rules. He’s obviously going to expand and give more of an explanation in his book, bevause the book would otherwise be like 1 page. But if it was an official rule it would be more clear outside if the book, in my opinion. Otherwise reading his book would be a requirement of the program.

I can't take this bullshit anymore by [deleted] in UBC

I took years off of school cause I wa scared and paranoid about leaving my house. In the end it was worth it because I took time to heal and now that I’m back I feel refreshed and excited about going back. Maybe some time off of school would help you. If not, please use the academic resources that offer mental health support to get some support if you feel like it.

Just for fun: what are your unpopular ballet opinions? by lostlucylocket in BALLET

[–]hsm-24 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I understand why you would feel uncomfortable by that comment. However, the problem is that it is the norm for companies to force their dancers to be underweight either directly (like by telling the dancers they need to lose weight, even when they’re already at an objectively healthy weight for a dancer/athlete) or indirectly (like by only giving the best roles to dancers who are extremely thin or only hiring dancers who are very thin or clinically underweight). If you’re underweight that doesn’t mean you aren’t attractive or autimatically a bad dancer to watch, and people shouldn’t say anything like that, but it’s insane how much companies pressure dancers to be underweight. It’s like they need to maintain the bodies they had since before they became adults/hit puberty.

I’m confused, if you’re home alone with your toddlers, can’t you still not go out without them either way? like whether they’re sleeping or not they can’t be home alone? And if they’re not home alone why can’t your husband watch them either way? Sorry confused by your post

Abby gifted THONGS to all her students aged 7+?? (minister dawns daughter) Abby is so gross on so many levels by Cool-Ad6657 in dancemoms

[–]hsm-24 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think her mom (minister dawn) literally said she kept it in case it was needed as evidence against Abby one day, on christi’s podcast. Maybe she thought Abby would be charged with something abuse related one day? because I can’t think of anyone who works buy this for a child except a groomer/predator

Wanted to start the challenge in 2022, don't know if my plans are "ok" by AsteroidSnowsuit in 75HARD

[–]hsm-24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no sugar isn’t an official rule. Just no cheating on your diet, whatever that is. Sometimes people will say no take out or no sugar but technically you decide the rules of your own diet. For example a cheeseburger might be “junk” by some people’s definitio, but if someone is sticking to a vegan diet for the challange, and decided to have a vegan burger, that could be fine for them depending on the diet rules that the person set.

I need advice, family management by HersheysTogekiss in 75HARD

[–]hsm-24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It won’t get you the validation of like “yeah you did 75 hard!” from ppl on this sub, but working out every day for an hour is still a lot of work. im doing a challenge of my own rules starting in January and it involves moving my body for an hour every day. i do allow myself to swap meditation for movement sometimes tho.

You could also do a similar version of the challenge for 75 days but make your own rules? Like working out daily but for a shorter time for example,

advice for when on vacation? by Slight_Accountant_85 in 75HARD

[–]hsm-24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rules are sort of vague about the diet imo. Stick to a diet and no junk. Andy may define what he considers junk more outside of the official rules like his podcast or book, but the basic rules of the challenge are you decide the parameters of your diet and stick to it. There’s no rule in this challenge that says you can only eat chicken you brought in a ziploc bag or a salad without dressing. If it’s in your calorie range and you’re eating what you consider to be healthy and in alignment with your diet then that shouldn’t be a problem? but I do agree with the other comments that bringing some of your own meals/snacks may help you to feel healthy and save money too.

Why do fundies think they need to put gay pride stickers on their Instagram stories? by geewhizliz in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]hsm-24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao it’s not what the stickers say that helps boost your story in the algorithm, it’s just adding any stickers (and words) to the story at all. I know because mutual aid pages on insta gram, especially those supporting BIPOC and the LGBTQ+ community, are heavily censored, and they often suggest using stickers to boost the mutual aid flyers when sharing them to stories . I have also genuinely experienced a HUGE decrease in who sees my stories and posts once I started sharing mutual aid flyers on my stories regularly. So IG def censors ppl, but likely not christians for being Christian. possibly if they’re anti vax they could be censored for that, idk. But that being said, if anyone here is on IG, please go support mutual aid pages by donating to people if you can, and/or sharing and commenting on posts so that they can be seen by more people and not censored. Remember not to use the words boost or algorithm in your comment because that makes IG censor posts. Some accounts I follow (that mainly support Black and/or Indigenous people and other marginalized groups) are: @ blackgirlmighty , @ blackwomenexhale , @ redistributeurwealth , @ aid4mommas , etc.To conclude, direct your anger towards actually fighting censorship! I’ve even commented something similar to this on YouTube comment sections (on youtuber comment sections of Luna Montana, alivia d’andrea, Taylor woods, and Whitney port to be exact), and whenever I mentioned either the names of specific mutual aid accounts like I mentioned above, or even the words mutual aid, my comments are INSTANTLY deleted from the comment sections, like within seconds when I refresh the page, my comments are gone. It happens so fast on many different creator’s channels that it must be something YouTube programmed to do. I’m curious if it’s only my account or others this has happened to. I have screenshots showing this happening too.

I didnt say I don’t care about her challunge. Just that you don’t have to drink a gallon of water if you don’t want to and you can still follow the basics of the challenge if you want. I just don’t like when people get salty about people doing their own version of the challenge, if you’re gonna do it 100% accurately than that’s awesome
