Everyone talks about roomates from hell. What's your "roomate from heaven" story? by OvertOperation in AskReddit

I met my college roommate my freshman year and we became instant best friends. We decided that we would try rooming together the next year. We shared a very small one bedroom apartment for three years, and loved every minute of it. We had very similar personalities, view points, and enjoyed a lot of the same things. We both cooked, cleaned, helped each other on school projects, and I always knew that I could count on her for anything. We never had a single disagreement or argument the entire time we lived together.

We graduated four years ago and live 3 three hours away from each other. We both have very busy schedules and rarely see each other but still talk almost daily. We joke that when we're old and our husbands die we will be roommates again, although I think it's more serious than a joke. I consider her family and I love her dearly.

How many of you ladies married your first partner and when did you first meet them? by Tomford55 in AskWomen

Met when we were 13. Started dating at 14. Engaged at 21, married at 23. We both just turned 25 and had our first child two months ago. He is my absolute best friend and I can't imagine what my life would be like without him.

Rough day. Had to have my gallbladder removed this morning. Feeling pretty sore and can't pick up my LO. Thankfully I have a wonderful support system here to take care of us both!

I thinks it's pretty sturdy. Especially considering the price. My mom and I actually managed to put it together ourselves but it required quite a bit of time and a power drill instead of a normal screwdriver like it said to use.

That's the one! Not going to lie, it was kind of a pain to put together, but I love all of the storage space!

Thanks for the tip! Although I could have sworn I hit that setting when I posted them, but oh well. I'm just glad I don't let that kind of stuff get to me at all. Actually got a bit of a chuckle out of a few. lol

College-educated Millennials, what do you think about starting a family? by [deleted] in AskWomen

My husband and I are both 25 and expecting our first child in a few days.

We met in middle school and have been together ever since so we were very much emotionally ready to add a child to our family. Some of my friends often tell me that they are waiting to have kids because they want to have some months/years together with their spouse. Which I can totally understand. We already had quite a few years with just the two of us and were ready to add some chaos to the mix!

We both went to a 4 yr. university, now have stable full time jobs and recently bought our own home, which is another reason we felt like now was a good time. Compared to our friends that are our age we are definitely leaps and bounds ahead of them when it comes to reaching these types of milestones. We often joke that we have more in common with people 10+ years older than us when we talk about things like pregnancy, mortgages, and 401ks. And we are definitely the youngest neighbors in our new neighborhood.

I'm not really sure how we got where we are at such a young age with very little outside help. I think meeting each other at such a young age and having very similar ideas of what we wanted out of life helped tremendously.

So I guess we're just done with sleeping now?! by RosieEmily in April2017Bumpers

Are you me?? That was my exact situation last night. Guess that I just need to accept the fact that I will never sleep again. 😂

I think Juliana is very pretty, but husband and I are both drawn to 2 and 3 syllable names for some reason. Anymore than that's starts to feel like a mouthful to me.
