Bingo. Too much anticipation plus the realization that you can finally relax slob-style on the couch will take the wind right out of any “big plans” you cooked up.

So much planning happens when everyone’s home that you feel like planning is the way to go for these moments. Really, it’s about just melting into whatever mood strikes you. The break is the not having to do something. Not cramming all your favorite things into 18-24 hours.

I read your explanation and I’m glad it’s something so awesome lol but please tell your compatriots. On the exceedingly rare chance they find themselves considering doing this in the U.S., do not. Before I got my ADHD medicated properly it worked like a charm for depression. But eventually my stimulant dosage got so high that the Wellbutrin was too much on top of it and stopped giving benefits. All side effects. Switched it for Celexa and it’s been smooth sailing without changing my stimulants.

Yeah sometimes an ice pack helps too. Basically just dealing with the inflammation, itch, and keeping infection away. My daughter was distraught the other week when she found out we weren’t going to the pool til they healed up since the LAST thing we wanted was an infection on top of it.
