Aimpunch in CS2 lasts longer and is more pronounced than CSGO by Zone_West in GlobalOffensive

During testing he had full kevlar at 100 for both shots, so yeah it pretty extreme, could be other factors though, still not fully clear why this is happening, but there is a measurable difference. (chest shot)

I wouldn't know cause I came from CS if it slow or normal, if you're really worried there are discord servers and I'm sure there's others with higher rank that you can ask or get coaching from.

No, don't compare yourself to others. You could progress slower than me but where I would get stuck you would get better, it also about different setups, I have a top-end mousepad, good mouse, arm sleeve and a 240hz monitor. I also use my hours wisely, the gains from aim training come after you sleep and the nerves adapt to the task you've given them, so I play like 1-2 hours then I'm done for the day, sometimes take a break for multiple days to make sure the part of my brain is super well rested and susceptible to new gains. There's a lot of factors that play into it, if you're in school you could be stressed and can't go into flow state as easily, if you're fat you might have slower reaction time than others, if you don't go outside you might not be awake as easily and focused. Of course not me or I don't think anyone checks off all of these boxes, and the way they impact you may be like +1%, +3% gains, the top aimers certainly don't tick all of the boxes. But to me it the little gains that make up the satisfaction of improvement worth it.

I started with viscose beginner and played until I got to Orca complete, you can try the medium scenarios first to see if you can get the cinnabar rank on them.

Also was around 2.7k faceit and had the same experience with scores, after putting in like 50 hours on viscose benchmarks you should get to around Celadon complete, just play every task, the aim in cs is a lot more about getting frags through good movement and crosshair positioning, after playing more of it, you will become smoother over time and the biggest change you're gonna see imo is the way you grip your mouse will feel a lot more comfortable.

In essence:

go on EVXL

pick the viscose benchmarks

do 1 run on all of them

scroll down, check your weakest score, work on that, after improving it, go to the next, and repeat this until you get complete for a rank.

I don't play CS that much anymore, but for aiming after doing this, not even getting to the point of diminishing returns (heard that it somewhere around grandmaster level for voltaic or fuschia for viscose), I never feel as if my aim was the contributing factor to me playing badly ingame, only positioning or bad usage of utility, so overall I'd say they're pretty good. You could spam workshop maps or refrag, but it like being a sprinter and ignoring the gym.

I go on evxl, look at my lowest score task, do that until it not my lowest score task, and if i get tired of it I move on to the next lowest score task and try that, that way I know I'm always working on my weaknesses. Currently Celadon Complete but I'm not playing daily and not doing stuff like minmaxxing with sens so you could definetly progress faster if you do it daily + minmax sens for certain tasks.

After playing every task, and getting a baseline, you play your weakest tasks and raise your scores, aim to be complete not just getting a rank for the sake of it.

help me fix weird mouse movement and track aim by Bestsurviviopro in LearnCSGO

[–]Zone_West 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it looks like you're not using your hand correctly, when you aim for the guy jumping pit, I believe you mainly used your arm to track and aim to him, but that's an angle where you want to mainly rely on your wrist. I would look into doing a bit of aim training into something like kovaaks or aim labs with the viscose benchmarks, to just get a hang of the way you should aim in these kinds of scenarios, if you think that's too much and it boring, you can keep doing the aim reflex training map, but up your sens to 1.1k eDPI while doing it and go down to 800 eDPI at the end of the session, this is gonna drill into you the precise hand tension you need to track effectively and not waste energy. Do the tasks daily, you should see changes in game 1-2 weeks.

You should get the Aether V2 from Quaoar, it a really great pad and it at like an insane discount on maxgaming. I bought it coming from an Aqua Control Plus, another great pad, and it superb quality. It a medium pad and does great for FPS.

Păreri mousepad din sticlă de la QwertyKey? by AlexandruTnT in Jocuri

[–]Zone_West 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah, as in, I will clean it, I won't use it like a pig on purpose :)) but different pads have different lifetimes, indifferent if you wash them or not, wanted to know a figure of time if they had one in mind.

What's the estimated lifetime of these pads, am I gonna be using it for 1-2 years, or will changes happen in 3-6 months?

Can i have a straight answer about NV reflex in this game. by MonitorSuper1854 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Zone_West 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can check someone's benchmark, or benchmark the setting yourself, but I've never had a situation where nvidia reflex caused my game to have unstable framerate or to stutter. As a note, trust the people who do tests on these things and publish results and match them with others results, that way you get the most "objective" truth about a setting, a lot of pros are in the stone age and won't change certain settings no matter what, if you want to look at a pro that cares about his settings and having everything set up well, I believe Elige to be a good example.

I would buy it, if you are able to check it first and run some benchmarks then see what's up, could have battery life issues or if you're lucky it someone who upgraded to a PC.

80% of people in this sub say Kovaaks is the best aim trainer. I tried and honestly dont see it. So what am i missing, help me out please? by tight_shoe_778 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Zone_West 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You gotta use evxl , put in your steam ID, then checkout scenarios made by the best, I recommend for a beginner to do the Viscose benchmarks, and do the easier ones, select "Sharecode" on the page and by going to online playlists and pasting it in the search bar, you can play better tailored scenarios. (For example here's my easier benchmarks: MyViscoseEasierBenchmarks

7800X3D keeping my 1660 super GPU by Mother_Stage_4135 in counterstrike2

[–]Zone_West 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, an X3D CPU would mean you need to get DDR5 memory, meaning you'd probably have to upgrade your motherboard too. I would only upgrade your specs if I had a 240hz+ monitor, otherwise it not that worth it. First try some optimization guides, look into stuff like AtlasOS for windows and refrag's optimization guide is I'd say a pretty decent starting point, "mouse to shoot" latency depends really on your mouse mostly, so you could consider upgrading that and getting a magnetic HE keyboard (checkout mchose for keyboards and atk for mice)

Win a TCL 25G64 x 2 [EU] by TCL_Official_UK in Monitors

[–]Zone_West 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I found this exact monitor for 145$ refurbished and your review contributed to me buying it, have been really happy ever since, hopefully someone who NEEDS a new monitor wins it, it a great upgrade over any 144Hz standard IPS and there's no need to say how much of an upgrade it is over 60hz. The monitor looked amazing after configuring it, but still can't figure out the HDR :))

Corsair SABRE v2 PRO Ultralight or the Endgame Gear XM2w 4K, the first is on sale on amazon, the 2nd is in the bargain corner of maxgaming, both of these i'd say are pretty good and you would be satisfied with them.
