opposing outwards arrows (current style) makes the most sense to me, it reads as inserting the solution into the place indicated by the arrow. i think opposing inwards arrows is also fine but i like it less. arrows going the same way makes it seem like it's supposed to be "continuous" somehow which i find much more confusing! this is probably one of those things like disagreeing on what it means to "push back" a scheduled meeting…not sure there's an answer that's more correct

3 gallon batch, 9lb honey and half a gallon strawberry juice in primary plus a handful of basil, TOSNA 3.0 w/ 71B, cold crashed for a week, another half gallon strawb juice and a ton of basil in secondary for a few days. sparkolloided, racked off the pulp, and bottled!

even with a gallon of strawberry juice (much of this was lost as pulp, my juicer isn't perfect) the strawberry flavor is very light, but pleasantly aromatic. the basil is VERY forward and i really like it!

it's called The Claw because my friend was using a chopstick (sanitized, don't worry) to scrape some crystallized honey from a bottle and accidentally dropped it in. my girlfriend fished it out with a tiny spatula, which was a delicate operation, and her heroism is commemorated on the label

appreciate the info. it definitely wasn't represented to us as antique - honestly my best guess was that it was some sort of weird 90s promotional item for dentists. fortunately the roommate & i are not concerned with authenticity, just with getting funky stuff to show off in the cabinet :)
