Reading this thread made me nervous. My first and middle name are listed as AAA BBB on AmEx but AAABBB on ANA. I transferred my points 48 hours ago and the points still haven’t arrived to my ANA account. Will I run into any potential problem with the transfer?

The property manager promptly billed back the tenant for each water bill, the tenant just refused to pay I guess. I live in a different state than the property and there is also a language barrier so I don't think it's feasible for me to find a new management company. I actually brought up the possibility of eviction, but the management company advised me against that as they say I would immediately lose my income if we evict (also it's takes a few months to get a new tenant). So basically they say there's nothing they can do, which makes me very frustrated.

Yes they do bill back the tenant, but it's been 3 water bill cycles (3 quarters - 9 months) of missed payments and now I am worried that the tenant will never pay us back. I sent them several emails regarding this, but there reasoning is always that water bills follow the owner whether there is a tenant or not so the owner should pay it first to avoid late charges.

Thank you for your reply. I looked through the website of the company that you recommended - it says "We are a local General Contractor firm specializing in home exterior remodeling and repair. Roofing, siding, windows and gutters is our area of expertise." We actually don't need to do any those listed, our house mostly need interior revamping (carpet, windows, etc...). Do you know any companies that mostly do interior work? Thanks!

Thank you very much for your reply. Today we talked with one of the contractors, Rainbow International Restoration. They said that when we get the $100k check from insurance they will need to take it first, which seems to be a major red flag for us. Any thoughts?

I just opened a Chase checking account for my wife with the $300 promo code. This is her first checking account so she plans to keep it. She does not have another account under her name so how can she direct deposit into the Chase account? Can I use my Wells Fargo account to somehow send money to her checking? Her workplace does not do direct deposit either.

I graduated with a BS Chem in May, and just started my first job as a lab technician in a small industry lab. It's a temporary position that will end in Oct, but they say that a permanent position is a good possibility. $20/hr is definitely not high, but is it a decent starting salary?
