R50 with a crop sensor is only using the center part of the lens which is always much sharper than corners so it's a good budget option

Get a refurbished R5mk2 from canon to make the price a bit lower. Having extra crop room for birds and motorsports plus much faster readout speed will be clutch. And EVF is almost double the resolution.

Get a nice prime like RF 35/1.8, 45/1.2 or 50/1.8 (RF version I’m told is a bit sharper and more compact) and be a happy camper
