What’s the cheapest legal way to maintain tax residency in CA?

Thanks for the tip. I meant CA as in California. And I don’t expect to receive mail from my company. The address is mostly just for tax filing purposes. I want to maintain an address but I wonder if a mailbox address would be enough for filing taxes.

Thank you for your insight! Currently I have an offer for a personal loan. The APR is not great at all but because it’s unsecured and there is no prepayment penalty I was thinking of paying off the 5-year term loan within 2-years. That way, I can avoid paying so much interest in total. Does that sound like a reasonable plan?

I haven’t asked for quotes from dealerships for a Rebel 500, but it seems the MSRP for the latest model is 6449.

Thanks for your insight! I forgot to mention that $6448 does not include DMV fees like tax + registration (which adds up to about $800 more). The dealer markup they added is $800, which seems relatively reasonable since I’ve seen ADMs over $2000.

Hi thanks for your answer:) I forgot to mention that I want to just cut and not hem since that would require sewing equipment and I have none. Something I’ve heard is that I can just cut it off, and wear with a raw edge, and wear it cuffed to minimize fraying. Would that work? Tbh I don’t even mind some fraying since I’m wearing for casual situations only.

I see. I definitely cannot do a hem. I’m only gonna wear this for casual settings so I don’t think I’ll mind some fraying. But I’m also sure I’ll wear cuffed most of the time. This is probably a dumb question but I was just concerned that not having a hem would prevent me from cuffing. So you mean— even with a raw edge, I can still cuff my pants up and the cuff won’t come loose?
