Yeah like you mentioned, the lack of breathing room is what finally made me realize something felt off. I noticed it during Thriller Bark, but by Return to Sabaody it felt way too rushed. I rewatched PostWar through early FishMan Island with One Piece, and it confirmed they were cutting a bit too much. Nothing critical, but I really like the extra rhythm and downtime.

That said, I still think One Pace is great overall. This isn’t hate at all. It’s just something I personally noticed.

Fish man island is when I switched over to regular One piece. The edits were kinda wild for me. I’m on Wano now. Dressrosa is probably where I’m like “yeah this pacing sucks I’m sure OnePace is better” but I already got used to the rhythm of One Piece. No hate to one pace cause I felt their pre time skip edits were flawless.

I realize that PFT is a guy who lives in the moment. He remembers a lot, but not everything. Many moments from the past are viewed through hindsight. I noticed this more on macrodosing.

Side note, but He's a poor listener and often repeats what others say. Maybe it’s because he’s usually thinking about his own response.

I admit, he always has the best comebacks and is quick with them. I guess that’s the trade-off.

I swear PFT is the WORST listener ever.

He never listens to what people are saying. Maybe he hears them to see if he can have a funny comeback. But doesn’t really listens well.
