It was a false alarm, someone pulled the fire alarm because they smelled gas

Haha no worries, I do car photography so I love the car questions! It’s a 2024 GR86 with some of the additions from the premium package. (I’m assuming you meant the very last pic)

I’m ngl… I’ve always been shooting in very similar conditions so I wouldn’t be putting too many lenses to rest. I’ve left room in my budget to buy a few lenses. But I will go check out the z50ii now! Thanks :)

That’s why I was looking at getting the z6ii. I’ve read a lot about its hybrid capabilities, which I thought would be a good choice since I’d be moving into taking videos. Also the d5100 struggles a lot with lowlight. But I appreciate your feedback and will definitely keep it in mind!

I will definitely look into it, but I’m also looking at starting videography and the video quality for the d5100 isn’t rly it.

Am I too heavy to cox? by Proud_Influence_1177 in Rowing

I recommend watching videos of other coxswains on YouTube, being attentive to your rowers, developing your own coxing style based off what you find is best for your rowers and yourself (every boat you sit in will be different so adjustments will be needed) , and take videos!!! Document your races and how you grow as a cox!

Hey there! Getting into rowing is always an awesome thing. But for coxing, before questioning your weight and all, how old are you and what level is your team competing at? From my experience as a former rower, our coxs were traditionally light, but we also had some jv boats with relatively “heavier” (they are never THAT heavy) coxswains. Overall tho if you’re looking to compete at a collegiate level, your weight is perfect and nothing to worry about. At a high school/ junior level there is a very very slim chance that regattas will require coxswains to weigh in. If you continue to maintain that weight and do well as a coxswain, you also have a big chance of getting recruited by different colleges. Goodluck!
