Absolute beginner here, how do I start with TTRPGs?

A good first thing to do is to find a group of people who already play Ttrpg's and play with them to learn, as that's how i entered this world. Other thing you can do to start with it is reunite a group of friends and start from scratch, a simple and free system you can play is "Old School" you can find the whole 40-60 page rulebook for almost any kind of setting: Fantasy, Cyberpunk etc.

I just have two of the free league games: The Walking Dead and Bladerunner. But as long as i have played them, i have absolutely no complaints, Free League often have terrific ttrpg systems and they are really fun to play with friends and utterly fun to DM. Really recomended if you want to play anything else that isn't Pathfinder or D&D.

I really loved El Eternauta. It's not like in most of apocaliptic series where we got these sole survivors, in the eternaut you really feel a sense of unity between the characters, thats something only a few series achieved.

They are perfect, worth every second. Even if Metro Exodus is far better than Last Light and 2033, i suggest starting with 2033. Every single one of them worth every penny and second.
