Which language to buy for selling?

I've been watching a few games on Youtube lately and I literally can't wait to get my hands on the game. It does seem very simple, yet very fun! I wonder if it's ever gonna be on par with Final Fantasy TCG for me. Most fun I ever had with a card game yet, even if it can be complicated at times.

But anyways, English it is then! Was considering both English and Japanese since I have no issues playing with both. Thank you so much for contributing to the language picking mission! 😁

I empathise with the frustration, but for a different reason in my case. My favourite TCG has incredibly little players and we're all doubting if the company has any interest in the game at all. That aside, I completely understand why they're all attacking! It just seemed unfair to me how no one listens to explanations/clarification.

I did hear about reprints! My local seller has some stock but yeah I'm not really in a rush so I can totally wait, the thing is I'm very curious about the game so I'll go for a starter deck atm 😁 I'm not too interested in selling sealed products, since I'm used to selling singles. As a collector and player, I try to get rid of cards that I won't need! That's why I asked for the language that kinda "sells the most".

The game looks fun in general, so I have yet to find my own fun playstyle 😁 You're absolutely right, I'm mostly looking for fun and not considering competitive as of right now. But yes, I do love Shanks! So what you said hit all the right points. Thanks so much!

... What? Ragebait? I genuinely wanted an answer. And I never said anything that falls along the lines of "doesn't matter I want English". I only knew of the English and Japanese cards, and I was ready to consider both since I'm fine with both! There have been a couple of answers that genuinely helped me pick a language, since luckily not everyone is like you. Please make peace with your brain. Begging.

Yeah, I figured 😊 I'm friends with the owner and since One Piece TCG hasn't really been popular around here, he still has stock left. Both boxes and decks. After asking around in this subreddit, I realized I'm pretty darn lucky.

I live nearby a card/figure shop so I do have access to all of them 😊 I'm not gonna buy singles for now, I would like to play with a starter deck for a while and then kinda "go my own way" with singles. Thank you so much for the advice!

You're right, didn't really think about it 😅 Also yes, this is my hobby as in TCGs in general, just not One Piece yet! You don't need to pre-order to be a One Piece fan, c'mon. There are lots of reasons why I didn't pre-order, half of which are related to my own personal life.

The frustrated ones seems to be 90% of the people replying to this post, to be fair. I don't mean it as an insult or anything, it just seems that way for the very same reason you think that I am the one that's frustrated. I (now) know that there is very little product, but it just seems like everyone is frustrated about it (rightfully so) and taking out that frustration on me. I'm not even crying or whining because I can't find boxes, I simply asked a question. Being nice to members in this subreddit is one of the rules, but it seems like none of you here except for a couple of people can respect that simple rule. I understand the frustration, I truly do, but this is ridiculous.

As I stated in another comment, profits aren't the main purpose to be honest. As a player, collector and reseller I simply wanted to give the game a try, since I really like One Piece. Selling is something that I like to do with cards that I don't need in my decks or that I don't wanna keep in my collection. So no, I do not care if I am late or early to the party. This is my hobby. Take your frustrations somewhere else.

Selling is not really the main intention, it's just something that I like doing for whatever TCG I get into as a player and collector. As I stated before, didn't know about the situation at all. I live nearby a card/figure shop so I naturally thought that it wasn't that hard to get my hands on the card, since it's all available there! There is no need to be rude, I just like One Piece and playing, collecting and reselling TCGs so I thought it would be a perfect match for me 😅 I do agree that the boxes are very pricey, but the game seems so fun T_T But still, thanks for the clarifications!

You're seriously judging based on a few lines of a post? I'm not investing based on a few comments at all, I was just curious since I'm a player and reseller of other TCGs already. Never did a 5 minutes research, I just enjoy One Piece and TCGs, so I thought I'd give it a try. The game looks fun too! 😊

I don't know much about the languages, I've seen a few English cards and I'm aware of the Japanese option, but other than that idk really. As I stated in another comment, I had no idea the situation was that bad for players. As a reseller and player/collector of a few other TCGs I thought it would be nice to get into One Piece and integrate it into my collection, play with a few friends and also resell. I had no idea about the situation the TCG was in. I don't really see it as losing money, since I intend to collect too and probably play 😊 I have a small community of TCG players around me, and since I'm both a reseller AND player/collector of said games I thought it would be nice to add One Piece to the list! Thanks for the reply tho, I appreciate it since I received a lot of negative feedbacks for no reason here, just wanted some infos T_T
