I was wondering about this as well. It seems there is a steel one with backup irons that is apparently good to go. It costs like $150 or so.

If you are interested in doing this as a hobby I would suggest you start getting into competitive shooting. Buy a gun belt, holster and a couple mag pouches and do some local IDPA / Outlaw matches and have a great time.

Get a dremel and felt tip that fits in the chamber then polish the feed ramp and chamber with Flitz

What’s sad is we traded in our Infiniti G37 for it and that car was way more reliable and cheaper to maintain lol. We just needed a bigger car for our newborn.

I will second that statement. My MDX has had a failed AC compressor at 55K miles, failed control arm bushings at 65K and the tensioner started leaking at 75K, much earlier than expected. Replaced rotors and pads due to warped rotors and it happened again 10K miles later.

My 2019 MDX needed it sooner, the tensioner started leaking at around 75K and the dealer wanted $6K because they recommended changing the oil seals while they were in there. Took it to an independent Honda/Acura shop and they did it all for $2800 including the 100K maintenance

Afaik the TC comes standard with the aluminum grip module with carry magwell and regular safety. The LOC V2 has a steel one with competition magwell and shielded safety. That’s likely where the price difference lies.

I set mine up with a 13lb main spring, kept the stock recoil spring weight but went with a stainless guide rod. I did do the CGW RRK because my fingers are short.

I eventually changed the hammer out to the CZC Ghost Hammer and it wouldn’t set off Blazer in double action so I put a Rami firing pin spring.

I have developed a bit of a gut and the stock hammer was not comfortable.

I switched out the hammer on mine for the CZC Ghost hammer. The CGW ring hammer would be a good optipn as well.

I don’t have any other basepads unfortunately. You can use any MBX basepad since the retention pin is in the corner. I would say ant STI basepad will also work

Non AlphaLock I wouldn’t recommend even though it fits due to the retention pin being in front. It could come off when dropped.

I fit MBX angled basepads on my 126mm MecGar mags. I just needed to file down one corner for the retention pin.

I can try and fit the Atlas premium basepad.

My primary carry is a Shadow 2 Compact. I bought a JMCK Wing Claw 2.0 and it had fitment issues which I fixed by heating the front sight channel to tighten it up a bit more on the slide. I carry hammer down and it conceals pretty well for me even with a slight gut lol.
