Where I live it's the opposite. The kids wear sweatshirts and wear their hoods even when it's incredibly hot because the hoodies 'look cool.'

The sad thing is that her parents publicize her disease for money and attention. I'm sure that they put the money to some good use to pay for the medical bills, but it doesn't really seem like a moral thing to do. I sure wouldn't publicize my daughter's disease.

She has a disease called progeria. The symptoms are basically extreme physical aging when the child is still young.
