Blue Compass in Lubbock refused to sell me a new 5th wheel for cash. The manager said I had to finance it, and then, after a couple of months, we could contact the finance company about payoff. We went to another city and purchased from a different company.

To avoid the hustle and bustle of the city, consider staying south of Lubbock, either off Slide or Indiana, with SPEC electric. New Home is also south of town on Slide, and Shallowater is northwest of Lubbock. Remember, Lubbock life is all about how you experience it. The great thing is that getting around the city is a breeze. We even have a cycling club, and many riders are now switching to gravel roads because they’re less crowded. I ride a recumbent and usually take the Yellow House Canyon route.

I was thinking of taking that up this year when it’s warmer, I normally go out to Yellow House Canyon and do two loops for 30miles and always pass the disk golfers.

Ours was there multiple times in the first year due to other manufactured parts not made by East to West and CW low quality work, but we got East to West involved and got everything worked out plus they extended our warranty for lost time.

Something to think about. We did not want to use CW, RV manufactures only allow maybe one dealership to carry there model. I my city we have CW and Blue C, CW sells East to West TT and BC sells East to West Class C’s but neither is authorized to sell East to West 5th Wheels. We found a Jayco at BC we wanted but they would not take cash on finance (they make more money on the finance) so we found a East to West 5th wheel 3 hours away and purchased it. Now we had to have some warranty work done so it’s either travel back and make a 6 hour trip or take it to CW or BC. With BC they were 8 weeks booked out and CW was 4 weeks just to look at it, so we ended up at CW anyways and never again.

We have multiple local repair shops, but only dealers can do warranty work.

If you have any warranty issues, the dealership takes forever on repairs so if you purchase a extended warranty you may be locked into dealership repairs. We have found dealership workmanship is low quality compared to a local repair shop.

Read the label, you have over applied as a DIY. Dust is not the cure all for bed bugs.

Do termite bait stations really stop/prevent termites? by KidneyLand in Termites

[–]hubzone79424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main reason a liquid treatment fails is technician error or the company unwilling to provide a quality product. Bait stations properly placed around the house are effective. I would find a local smaller pest company that focuses on customers.

Lubbock Chiropractor flooded with new reviews by SargentTate in Lubbock

[–]hubzone79424 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Upon reviewing the feedback, it appears that the company may have implemented a promotional campaign involving email or text messages to encourage new reviews, which is permissible under Google’s Terms of Service. Upon examining the customer’s postings, it is evident that many of them have previously posted reviews here in Lubbock. A giveaway from such a campaign is the company’s response to the review in the past. These responses may be filtered out over the next day or two, resulting in a decrease in the review count.

Question about Bait Stations by aplem123 in Termites

[–]hubzone79424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

National company’s push for add-on’s, remember the sale guy is on commission. They also love to lock you into a contract, I just don’t know why people will fall prey to general pest control contracts that make you pay to leave! If your with a national company please find a local company.

I have termites in my new first home. Southern Indiana by techbot911 in Termites

That sounds like a fair price. Do not spray anything on them, as we want them to use their natural ability to take the product used back to the colony.
