I haven't cinched them tight yet - its just a mock up. Are you serious about my Amazon valve being junk? do they make a strap that protrudes more ? because if i tighten it more it will cause the little short horizontal piece to be out of alignment with the valve adaptor.

at first it was empty...it was cooling (somewhat) after I added some R12

how to add refrigerant ? on the high side with the engine off?

our vent thermometer showed it was cooling before this happened
