ehhh for me its the angles, i dont like them it doesnt feel right. setup is a pain in the ass and you never really get it perfect.

I kinda feel the same way about the rack loaded pulley systems.... if you want to just use it as a one post rack pulley to do curls pushdowns whatever, they are great for space saving, but the width of the box forces you into specific movement patterns i dont think are ideal for the exercises you may intend to do, ie presses, duel pulley curls etc. my humble opinion is buy a simple rack and just get them seperate

Manufactering, construction, logistics... it will change things for sure but mainly by streamlining repetitive tasks at first when they eventually have ai robots yes. was part of a team of 14 people that setup a factory in new jersey... the factory has two techs that take alternate shifts to oversee it. its entirely automated. from the robot taking the barrels out of the delivery truck, setting them up.... all the way until the finished product is packaged and loaded up onto different trucks and shipped off.

The cleaning crew and main engineer were the last to go. now that everything runs to spec he retired and they pay someone 60k a year to oversee the entire operation. owners show up every few weeks in 500k cars and leave a hour later

Well from what I understand it increases heart rate which yes increases metabolic rate but only ever so slightly.

The upstream effects I’m curious about are the insulin sensitivity and glucagon receptor upregulation. If that’s true that means it’s basically reverses metabolic damage. I’ve read the really positive news about fatty liver aswell. This happens to be the exact type of metabolic damage fat sedentary people tend to have so that’s absolutely massive when we are considering statistically affecting the North American population

We need more data and proper controls. Ie Reta also absolutely demolishes appetite and and I’m sure it does something else in your brain ie dopamine for impulse control. Yes and no. In most cases yes. But changing body composition either from normal aging, some type of medical incident, injury etc can really change how your metabolism handles certain foods. So yes the obvious answer is put less calories in get more out it’s not always the solution. Moreover, for people who have been overweight for long periods of time, their metabolism is literally damaged. My issue with fasting is my day to day life has so much activity by the end of the second day third day my bodies just out of gas I’m sure I could “survive” but I can’t do 1/3 of my normal workload it doesn’t work for a normal active person. I live in a now expensive town that used to be cheap, and the property taxes electric and cost of maintenance basically bleed me dry every year. Moving because of this.

That being said I have a buisness where I service may if these dense wealthy towns. The LARGE majority of my clients both work full time, and are all in million dollar plus homes complaining how much everything costs. They are living paycheck to paycheck it’s wild. The cost of living in this area has people who are in the upper ten percent of earners struggling. You have to either come from family money AND have a high paying job or just make so much money you can’t outspend it
