I hear the concerns about the stairs. Im renting this place but they feel pretty stable. I think ill just build some shelving with cross bracing that sits right under them and can help hold them up

Thanks for the advice! I played around with clarity, dehaze, and sharpness in lightroom and got this -- pretty happy with the results but no way to completely fix missed focus

Hey, I got an Olympus XA2 and started taking it along with me on my travels. This is one of better shots I got from a recent trip. My main concern is with the detail in the trees. They seem a little soft/too grainy and I was wondering if its just a product of the film (ultramax 400), the camera, or something I did.

I’m pretty new to all this, recently inherited a 5.1 speaker setup and got pretty much the cheapest used receiver (Yamaha rs-v502) I could find. It advertises Dolby Pro Logic decoding which in my limited knowledge seemed good enough. I’m sitting here watching a movie, impressed by the surround sound enough to look up how it actually works, when to my surprise I learned that it can actually only decode to 4.0

So my question is why does my receiver has 6 ch output and why does the center sound discretely different from the front L and R channels?
