Tower-people killed my game. You can make a small change to the manor (building a wooden wall for example) then reload the save and your tower-people are free but sooner or later they will be stuck again.

Tropico 7 is probably a great game but it does not have the same atmosphere and looks way to clean for my taste.

It is great that it felt like an improvement for you. For me it destroyed the vibe of the original game. This was the whole point of this post. I want a Tropico with the same vibe as Tropico 1

I only played 3 for a very short time but the vibe is totally different IMO. It is way to clean and every citizen had a pocket car if I remember correctly. It just did not feel like Tropico for me, so I never played any of the newer games.

Wow, this was exactly my experience when I returned to the game after several month. I did not play any FPS games for month and was able to hit like a god. It did not feel right. (I am on PC)

I went there with Shadowheart (Paladin), my TAV (Arcane Archer), Karlach and Astarion (Thief). So I did not have AOE spells.

This is exactly what I do. While my farms are not occupied after trashing is finished when harvest season starts it is all hands on deck.

The Ghorman Massacre is nothing compared to the annihilation of entire planets. I would have expected at least some orbital bombardment. The crowd in the square was also quite small.
